i-Bond Extravaganza - Day 1

Good morning!
We have a super fun week of projects for you!

Our Design Team have been gluing up a storm with the Imaginisce i-bond cordless glue gun.

This tool is wonderful for all types of crafters.  First of all, it's cordless! How cool is that?  It also has a little light so that you can see where you are working.  And .... it's PINK!

Let's get started!

“Spring Bird House”

With Spring having a hard time making it’s way to us I wanted to create a piece of home décor to brighten my home and make it feel like Spring on the inside. I found this wooden bird house at Michaels and thought how cute would it be to add the sweet little bird from the Childhood Memories collection. So I pulled out some of my favorite papers along with some other embellishments. I covered my bird house with the papers and then got my I-Bond tool plugged up and ready to glue on some embellishments.

While the I-Bond was heating up, I got my ribbon/trim and other embellishments ready to go including my sweet little Roly Rosie. It only took a few quick moments to glue all of the items onto my bird house. One thing I LOVE about the I-Bond is that it doesn't drip so I didn't have to worry about it getting all over my project or my work space! Here is a look at it after everything was glued on

Imaginisce Supplies Used: Good Dog (patterned paper), Makin’ Waves (patterned paper), Childhood Memories (patterned paper, cardstock stickers), I-Bond tool, Clear Mini Glue Sticks, Roly Rosies
Other supplies: Offray ribbon, Folkart Acrylic paint, EK Success Leaf Punch, wooden bird house - Michaels

Altered Bucket

While a plain white bucket is simple and stunning on its own, adding a pop of color and texture can make it all the more fun. The i-bond makes it easy to adhere paper or fabric to metal or wood. I used the i-bond to add paper leaves and a fabric flower to this coated metal pail. I used it to hold candy for Easter, but I know in the future it’ll make a great little pail for flowers, stones, or whatever the summer may bring.

You can see in the step-by-step pictures that I used the i-bond to adhere both the flower petals to each other, as well as the leaves to the flower. Even the button was affixed with the i-bond.

SUPPLIES:
Imaginisce (i-bond, Endless Summer pattern paper), buttons, fabric, ribbon, pail

"Hooray for Summer"

Summer is my favorite season! We love to go to the beach, to the cabin and just enjoy the sunshine whenever we can.  I also love the washed out colors of summer and wanted to make a frame for this photo of my son and his friend at the cabin.

I found an old frame, took out the glass and used the I-Bond glue gun to add a piece of wood instead.  Then I rolled pieces of the Endless Summer collection papers using a wooden skewer and used the I-Bond to glue them to the frame.

On the wood inside the frame I added a few pieces of paper, the photo and the fun “Hooray for Summer” die cut.  To finish it off I added some coordinating twine around the bottom of the frame and took the cute sun from one of the sticker sheets and added it to the top of the frame.

Supplies: Patterned Paper, sticker and die cut - Imaginisce Endless Summer  Collection, Twine – The Twinery.
