Outdoor Adventure Release Party - Day 3

Welcome to Day 3 of the Release Party for Outdoor Adventure.

We've got another day full of super fun projects.
But first we want to share with you the Sticker Stackers, Chipboard and Die Cuts that come with this collection.

Smore 5x7

Outdoor Journal 5 x 12

Take a Hike Chipboard

Gone Camping Die Cuts

Ok, now let's take a look at some more fabulous projects using this new release.

Petrified Forest Layout

I have been wanting to scrap a fun little trip we took with my son to The Petrified Forrest, one of those strangely fascinating roadside attractions that you always drive by but rarely venture into. So, when I saw the Outdoor Adventure collection, I was really excited! The woodgrain patterned paper was about as perfect as things could get. I tore the paper into a background element and the colors from the collection are some of my favorites. The sticker alpha page made creating my title so easy and quick and I was glad to have the chance to scrap one of our family's best memories.

Supplies used:
(patterned paper, die-cuts, alpha stickers from Outdoor Adventure collection) Imaginisce; Cardstock: (white) Stampin' Up!; Specialty Paper(vellum) PTI; Dies: (photo frame) Taylored Expressions

Wild & Free Birthday Card

I am always on the lookout for masculine collections because in my little family, it's all about boys with my son and husband outnumbering me! I wanted to create a really fun birthday card for a boy, and when I saw the darling ATVs and motorbikes, I knew they would make for a great interactive card. I used the Outdoor Adventure ATV Die Cut as my moving element and stamped my sentiment in such a way as it would be revealed when it was moved across the card. The "Wild & Free" Chipboard was the perfect accent to my very "boy" card.

Supplies used:
(patterned paper, die-cut, chipboard sticker from Outdoor Adventure Collection) Imaginisce; Cardstock: (midnightmuse) Stampin' Up!; Tools: (grass border punch) Martha Stewart Crafts; Dies: Movers & Shapers) PTI; Accents: (eyelets) WRMK

"Happy Camper"

This collection has such rich, fun colors.  I decided to use some pictures of my youngest wearing his new red shoes. He is so proud of this so this was a fun page to create.
I actually used my scissors and cut out the boot prints from the sticker strip so that I could use them individually on my layout.

Supplies: Imaginisce (Outdoor Adventure: patterned papers, Sticker Stackers (journal), Die Cuts, i-rock tool and brown square Glam Rocks, Foam Tape;  The Twinery (twine); Core'dinations Colorcore Cardstock (red); Spellbinders (dies)

"Biker Dudes"

This layout is about my brother & his son and their love for dirt biking.  They go out often and find many fun places to ride around.  And this collection was perfect for these photos.

Supplies: Imaginisce (Outdoor Adventure: patterned papers, Alpha Stickers, Die Cuts, i-rock tool and brown Glam Rocks, Sticker Stackers, Foam Tape); Fiskars border punch

"Our Great Adventure"

Designers Tip: When creating double page layouts, I try place the photos to balance out both sides as best as possible. Using Imaginisce embellishments, its easy to fill in empty spaces to go along with the theme of the layout.

Supplies Used: Outdoor Adventure: Patterned Paper, Alphabet Sticker Sheet, Adventure 12 X 12 Sticker Sheet, Sticker Stackers: S'more & Outdoor Journal; Oversized Die Cuts-Gone Camping

Wild Child- My little Daredevil

Supplies Used: Outdoor Adventure: Patterned Paper, Sticker Sheet: Alphabet and Adventure; Oversized Diecuts: Gone Camping; Snag em Stamps- Dirt Bike
Other: Taylored Expression Dies; Studio Calico Wooden Stars; Twine: The Twinery; Stampin'Up  Punch.

 "Take a Hike"

My family loves to camp. I have so many pictures that are perfect for the Outdoor Adventure collection that I just had to make a 2 page layout. The die-cuts make it quick and easy to embellish your layout and provide for a ready made title.

Supplies:
Imaginisce: Outdoor Adventure: Patterned PaperDie-cuts, Journal Sticker Stacker
Core'dinations cardstock in brownQuick Quotes Powderpuff chalk ink in Mocha Mama; Ranger Distress Ink in Wild Honey; Hemp cord; Coats and Clark thread; EK Success border punch; Creative Memories circle cutter.

"Thanks S'More"

I love to play with SVG files to make 3 dimensional gifts. When I saw the S'More paper I knew I wanted to make a S'More kit. Wouldn't this be perfect for a teacher gift!
Hint: Save your plastic packaging from the stickers to use for a clear window into your box.

Supplies:
Imaginisce: Outdoor Adventure: Patterned PaperDie-cuts, Journal Sticker StackerChipboard Stickers, Alphabet Stickers, plastic packaging
SVGcuts.com: Camp S'More SVG file; Bazzill cardstock in brown; Hemp cord; Therm-O-Web 1/4" Supertape; Graham crackers, Hershey chocolate, and Marshmallows

The woodgrain is amazing! I went to the Petrified forest when I was 4 or 5. That layout sure stuck a cord with me!

When I was in high school, I used to go with my boyfriend's family and friends to waterski and camp at Katherine's Landing. So many great memories made during those years.

I would have to say my favorite camping moment was in high school and I went with my best friends family. Stayed a week at June Lake and visited Yosemite and Mammoth. Had so much fun!

This line is SO fun! Love it!!!
Great projects. Really love the layouts and the S'mores gift is too cute.
There is honestly something I love about every camping trip we've been on, but I guess my favorite part is just hanging out relaxing and getting dirty with my kids and hubby. Can't wait to go this summer!

What a great set of projects, especially loving the layouts, the die cuts are such fun! My favorite camping memories are from sleepaway camp when I was growing up. I loved cooking food in foil in the fire.

This collection just gets better and better. Love the chipboards and die cuts. They are wonderful. My favorite camping memory - camping across the US with my grandparents on the way to Expo 67. We went hiked at Craters of the Moon, fished in the Black Hills, spent the 4th in Lincoln Nebraska, drove thru Detroit just before the riots started and camped at Niagra Falls (Canadian side) as well as many other stops along the way and picking up family to join us in Wisconsin. It was a fun trip from the Pacific Coast to Montreal and back.

I am loving all of these. I love camping and have so many pics this collection would go great with. I also love the lil Biker dude layout. That is my son for sure. He loves his bikes. Awesome job to everyone. You have alot of wonderful idea's. My favorite memory of camping out would have to be when I was lil going night fishing with my parents. My mom caught a fish. Too small to keep and let me put it back.Well I chucked that baby back into the lake... Not knowing I was suppose to just release it. LOL.

My favorite would HAVE to be when I got married at the Big Sur campground. It was just me and my husband, along with the acting campground pastor, his wife and 3 kids. The kids played in the creek while the ceremony was going on. It was beautiful and wonderful, and just our style.

I neef this collection for sure. Love camping. Especially since we often go with my parents, a bunch of siblings and a whole mess of kids! So much fun!!

my favorite camping trip memory is when we took our son for an overnight trip the first time he was not sure what to think of sleeping outdoors.

A fun memory is trying to get up the courage to jump off of a HUGE rock into Mirror Lake in Yosemite. It seemed huge at the time, but really wasn't.

I love the collection and would love a chance to win! My favorite camping memory is one from 35 years ago....my brother got his head stuck between the wooden beams of a playground at the campground! I just wish I had a picture so that I could scrap about it now!

Love this collection! We camped all the time as kids so there are a LOT of memories of camping. I guess the one I could pick was when we camped out in Virginia and left our pet German Shepherd tied up near the tent. When we came back from a brief walk she had torn a huge hole in the tent! Mom had to sew it up that afternoon so we could sleep in it that night but we made sure we didn't leave her alone in the campsite after that!

What fantastic projects. That fishing card even has a hook on it. The S'more Gift box is cool. All the projects are wonderful.

My favorite camping story. Hmmmm ... I was at a Girl Scout camp (this is a long time ago.) Another scout and I were walking near the entrance of the camp, when we saw a little boy and his dog coming into the camp. He was crying and we went up to him to see what was wrong. His family was camping at one of the many nearby campgrounds and he had been taking a walk with his dog and gotten lost. We reassured him and took him to one of the counselors who started calling around to the different campgrounds and located his family who promptly came and picked him up. That was our good deed for the day. I think we were about 11 years old and we felt a little bit like heroes for helping him.

Fun projects with this collection. My favorite camping memory is the first time I went camping when I was in college on a biology field trip and got lost in the Everglades trying to find the bathroom.

My husband & I went on a 7 day canoe/camping trip with 4 other couples. On the first night we all sat around the camp fire telling ghost stories. I was the last person to tell a story. Without going into details of the story I told, I'll just say the story I told must have been really gory because all 5 of the men stayed up all night sitting around the campfire until day break. I am now banned from ever telling ghost stories on camping trip now.

Really great projects!! This is an awesome collection! My favorite camping memory has to be the camping trips we went on over the Easter holidays when I was a child. I remember all the tasty treats & the horse riding.

My family was camping in Yellowstone. My sons were working on junior ranger badges.

We turned in the completed papers to a ranger. The ranger was checking the answers on the papers. One question was, "What is your favorite place at Yellowstone?"

I'm sure the rangers are used to answers like: old faithful, etc.

The ranger looked at my son's answer: A Loop.

Ranger; "A Loop. What's A Loop?"

A Loop was one of the campground roads. My son is an avid bike rider (anything with wheels actually) and loved riding around the campground. A Loop also had a bison that hung out there all the time.

I just loved hearing this memory from my son's perspective.

Love your new collection. Don't have a camping story as we do not camp - love to do road trips but stay in motels along the way.

My favorite camping trip memory is just being able to spend time with the family around the fire making smores! :) Loving this collection! So dang cute!

I really love camping so it's really hard to think about one favorite moment. I guess maybe when my hubby and I were backpacking on North Manitou Island in Lake Michigan we had this lovely backcountry campsite that was on a bluff overlooking the lake on the west side. The beach was deep and sandy and just so enjoyable after our hike in that first day. When I need to relax, I think back on that beach and I'm there!

My favorite camping trip is when my boys and I went to Hacienda Sabanera in Cidra, Puerto Rico with my eldest's Boys Scouts troop! We had a blast!!! We went fishing, hiking, swimming and canoeing!!! Too much fun!!!
This collection is too cute!!! Thanks for the inspiration!!!
