Teacher Appreciation/Year End Gifts - Day 2

Welcome to another day of inspiration of gift giving for teachers.

Our designers today have some incredible ideas to share with you for the amazing teachers in their children's lives.
And it's true. Teachers play a very important role in our children's lives and a gift of appreciation means so much to them.

Let's see what our designers have to share today.

"Teacher Canvas Art"

For my Teacher Appreciation project I wanted to create a piece of canvas art that my daughter's teacher could display somewhere in her room. I watered down some acrylic paints and painted a rainbow on the canvas. While that was drying I used my Silhouette to cut out the letters to create the words. I did change up some of the words from the original Silhouette cut because I wanted her teacher's name on it. After I had the letters glued down, I used a foam brush and applied a layer of Mod Podge matte finish over all of the canvas. Then I glued a piece of ribbon around the edge to finish it off. I can't wait to give this to her to let her know how much she means to us.

Supplies Used:
Imaginisce Pattern Papers (Makin Waves, Geek Is Chic, Childhood Memories)

Other: May Arts ribbon, Bazzill cardstock, acrylic paints

"Thanks Whooo!"

I found this little guy in the Silhouette on-line store and knew he would be perfect for a Teacher Appreciation gift. This is a treat bag, so I can fill him with some candy and a gift card. I added this little tag on the back to say Thanks as an owl would :) I could see this making a great graduation gift too.

Supplies:
Imaginisce: Childhood Memories: Patterned Paper;  Good Dog: Pattern Paper;
Core-dinations cardstock; Quick Quotes Powderpuff chalk ink in Mocha Mama; Lori Whitlock 3D Owl Tote Box;  Silhoutte Cameo Die Cut machine; May Arts ribbon.
