Black Ice Reveal Party - Day 4

Welcome to our final day of the Reveal for Black Ice.

We hope that you've been enjoying the creations that our Design Team have worked so hard on.  This is such a beautiful collection and as you have seen throughout the week it's not just for weddings!  There are so many occasions and themes that this collection is suitable for.

Let's see what the rest of our team has to share with us today.

"Always remember"

So when I first got these wonderful papers in my hands I knew just what I was going to do with it.....this layout! This is my sweet, adorably cute niece! Isn't she beautiful?!?! She just graduated high school and I am incredibly proud of her and wanted to convey that to her through this layout. Plus I've been wanting to scrap this picture of her. (snicker!) And the gray, black, and white matched perfectly with her coat and hat.

One thing that I love about this collection is this flower design which is a beautiful design and was so easy to fussy cut. And the fact that it looks fabulous when added to some hand made embellishments!

I also love that you can add pops of color to make your projects to really make them stand out!

Another way to add a pop of color is to use the Hot Rocks to your projects like I did here with the red Hot Rocks!

Supplies Used:
Imaginisce - Black Ice (pattern paper), Love You More (pattern paper, washi tape), Hot Rocks
Other - Silhouette, Tattered Angels mist

Wedding Invitation

My next project is a jazzed up invitation. I used turquoise for my choice of color pop which also looks so good against the gray, black, and white.

Instead of mailing out just an invitation, slip it in a decorated glassine bag! Your guest invitees will be WOWED when they pull this out of an envelope!

Supplies Used:
Imaginisce - Black Ice (pattern paper, invitations), flower
Other - SRM glassine bag, Bazzil cardstock, May Arts ribbon

"Prom - Celebrate Today"

The minute I saw the Black Ice collection I thought, It's perfect for formal pictures; prom, weddings, etc...  Black and White is elegant and sophisticated and goes with everything. You can add your own color or leave it as is. I choose to add my own color in this layout. I wanted to bring out the colors in that beautiful dress. I used gelatos and a stencil to create leaves. I choose pink and orange flowers. The I-Top tool allowed me to make my own flower centers using the pattern paper. Then of course I had to add some bling! I love that the I-Rock gems come in so many different colors. Stencils make it easy to create swirl patterns.

Supplies:
Imaginisce: Black Ice: Patterned Paper; I-Top Tool with small and medium Brad Daddies; I-Rock Tool with Hot Rocks Compact Glitter Assortment; I-Rock Swirls Stencil; Fashion Fabric Flowers;
American Crafts glitter cardstock; Little Yellow Bicycle Stickers; Crafters Workshop Botanicals Doodling Template; Ribbon: Prairie Bird Boutique (Etsy); Petaloo Flowers; Bazzill Flowers; Quick Quotes Powderpuff chalk ink in Coal Miner; Martha Stewart border punch.

"Bridal Table Place Cards"

These bridal table place cards were simple to make. I scored a 5x7 Invitation in half and used my I-Top tool again to create a flower center. I love my I-Magicut Ribbon Cutter! No frayed ends as I threaded some ribbon through the top of the card. Note: Thread the ribbon through the front and the back, this gives it more stability to help it stand up better.

Supplies:
Imaginisce: Black Ice: Invitations; I-Top Tool with small Brad Daddies; Fashion Fabric Flowers;
Bazzill cardstock; Hole punch; Really Reasonable Ribbon Black Sheer Organza with Satin Center.

"Yes, I'm a Mess!"

This is such a great collection.  The variety of black & white patterns all coordinate well together, allowing you to combine any of them together.  I like how using the black & white color scheme allows your eye to be drawn to the photo in the layout, despite all the pattern variety going on in the layout.  I hand cut hearts and pennants for my embellishments and layered them with circles.  I inked the hearts with white ink and matted the pennants with red for a pop of color.  Using white ink was perfect with this collection and I really like how it turned out.  I also love using my white gel pen whenever I can and it worked perfectly with this collection as well.

Supplies:
Black Ice Collection, White card stock, Red card stock, White Ink, Black Ink, Black & White twine, foam tape, Alligator Quickutz font, White gel pen.

Wine/Gift Set

So my friend is having a Wine Tasting Party for her birthday and everyone who brings a bottle of wine is supposed to hide the label.  I got to thinking, and thought aha!  Black Ice….perfect.  Perfect  fort adding class to a wine bottle.  I choose a few of the fun patterns, made a base for the label, hand cut the flower designs out and the flower petals to give them dimension.  I embellished the flowers with hot rocks.  I found this great saying on Pinterest and printed it out to make my own label.  It's just the saying for a get together with friends.

To go with the wine bottle, I made a candy holder to hold chocolates, a perfect pair to those dessert wines.  To make the holder, I used a cupcake wrapper cutout on the Cricut.  I free handed the inside piece by tearing it.  I added the same handout flower embellishment to the outside and then filled it with chocolates.  It's going to be fun party and the guest of honor is wearing Black Ice!

Supplies:  Black Ice Collection, Hot Rocks, I Rock, Xyron Adhesive Runner, Circuit Cupcake Cartridge.

"Congratulations" card

I was so excited to first see Black Ice and knew it would be fun to work with!  There are several fancy patterns perfect for feminine use and fancy occasions but also some great basics I've already put hard to work!  This card was easy to pair fancy and simple to create a card perfect for a special occasion!

Supplies:
Patterned Paper: Black Ice Collection
From My Stash: Cardstock and ink
