Makin' Waves with Jodi

These next few days we will be wrapping up our Designer-a-Day feature for this month. We hope that you've enjoyed the summer themed projects and have gained a bit of info on our easy it is to incorporate our tools into your projects.

Today we have designer, Jodi Wilton sharing a fabulous layout.

Makin' Waves

Designer's Tip:  For this layout I wanted to show how quick and easy it is to use the Hybrid Petal Roller to create wave-like embellishments!

Step One: Gather Supplies- Strips of paper (1/8 wide)- you can self cut these, or use a die that cuts them for you & Hybrid Petal Roller

Step Two: Insert one end of a strip of paper in the slot of the Hybrid Petal Roller. Begin Rolling.

Step Three: Continue rolling to create a circle wave. To create two round waves with one paper strip: Stop rolling the paper strip halfway, then take the Hybrid Petal Roller at insert the other end of the same paper strip in the slot of the the Roller. Begin rolling in the opposite direction to create two opposite waves.

Supplies Used: Patterned Paper: Endless Summer- Summer Picnic & Let's Eat; Outdoor Adventure: Get Lost; Tools-Hybrid Petal Roller, Provocraft Quilling Die; Silhouette SD; Adhesive: Ranger Industries- Glossy Accents; Tombow

Thanks Jodi. We love the paper quilling. It looks awesome!

Join us again tomorrow for another designer spotlight.
