Pool Party Fun! by Diana Fisher

Today we have designer Diana Fisher sharing her beautiful work with us.

"Pool Party"

I wanted to make a layout that reflected a sunny sky and also rolling waters, so I used a variety of different Imaginisce papers in blues, yellow and oranges in layers. With the deep blue sea at the bottom, fishies in the middle and rays of sunshine at the top, these papers worked out perfectly to get across the scene I was creating.

STEPS:
Step 1: Gather your papers cut into approx. 2" strips, a 12x12 background paper and then your tools and photos.

Step 2: Arrange your papers and then adhere them to the background paper. The goal is to create waves and sunny skies, so keep tones and patterns in mind as you choose the order.

Step 3: Add your photos. I use four photos, placing two at the bottom and two at the top, but they could have easily also be gathered across the middle in a strip or all in a large middle square, too.

Step 4: Find your embellishments! In addition to stickers and die cuts, I also used my i-rock and glam rocks for adding sparkle to my water. I put orange on the star fish and blue on the spray from the hose.

Step 5: The i-rock makes it so easy to apply some quick sparkle and eye candy to your pages.

SUPPLIES:
Imaginisce: Pattern paper (Childhood Memories, Endless Summer), Die Cuts (Endless Summer), Stickers (Childhood Memories, Outdoor Adventure), Tools (i-Rock and Glam Rocks)
