Featured Designer: Lucy Abrams

If you like making cards then you'll love Lucy Card's blog. Lucy is a card designer from the UK and makes the most lovely cards we've seen. We have been big fans here at Imaginisce, so we contacted her to see if she'd make some cards using our products. And we were delighted when she said YES!

Lucy created a couple of sweet cards with our popular Lucy Bird Collection (she must have liked the name). To see more images and another cute card design be sure to click through to her blog. And she'll be posting more on her blog soon, so be sure to follow.
About Lucy: My name is Lucy Abrams and I live in Manchester, England. I have been making cards for about two years, and am lucky enough to create for a number of wonderful companies and designers. And I specialize in hybrid digital cards. Click here to read more about Lucy.

LUCY BIRD Charm Bracelet

We couldn't resist sharing this yummy little idea using the Lucy Bird Snag 'em Stamps from our very own Cari Locken. Here's her notes about the fun bracelet project:

"I just wanted to share with you a little project I made and finally took a picture of. I used one of the stamps (bird) from Lucy Bird Collection. I stamped the image with black StazOn ink onto a piece of Shrink Plastic. I made a bunch of them so that I could add them to a charm bracelet with jump rings. My daughter loves it! I didn't have enough jump rings though so that's why I joined a bunch together instead of separately throughout the bracelet! :( Oh well. Work with what you've got right??" ;)

We happened upon a darling online store website called Anna's Craft Cubpoard this morning. itop Annoucement: New Magnet Backers

O Daddy!! We're so excited to announce the first of our new i-top backers for 2010 -- the new "Magnet Daddies". Now you can create your own custom covered magnets. Cover them with fabric, photos, scrapbook paper and more. Shipping end of January, these new magnet daddies are available in Large (28mm), Medium (22mm) and Small (16mm).

MAGNET DADDIES PROJECTS
Our fabulous designers create a couple of projects to show you how fun the new "Magnet Daddies" are to create with.

Framed Photo Board: We simply placed a 12" x 12" sheet of metal behind the Lucy Bird page layout and glass that comes with the frame. Then we placed a couple of rub-ons in the bottom right corner, covered a few "Magnet Daddies" with coordinating Lucy Bird papers. Simply add your favorite mementos and photographs and either hand on your wall or place on a decorative easel.
Metal Magnet Block: We found these cute wood block/metal boards and covered the base with the new Scooter's Vacation papers with mod podge.
The magnets are the best part, after covering them with Scooter's Vacation papers and then coated with Diamond Glaze. They look like the ones you buy at the store (wink).

Don't forget to check out our Imaginisce Project Gallery, we've been posting tons of fun ideas from our VERY talented Design Team using the new Magnet Daddies!!!
