April Sketch Winner Announced
She lives in Copenhagen, Denmark with her husband Steen and their son Asbjørn. She states on her bio that she absolutely loves being creative and fills her sparetime with photography and scrapbooking. She has a great blog and with the help of Google Translate you can read the blog too (with some minor errors....like it translating that she lives in Australia)...but go check it out!
As for the layout, we loved the simplicity of this layout and how your eye is drawn right to the photo and the darling airplanes flying around!! The title is exceptional as well. And you can still purchase the whimsical Let's Roll Collection at most stores and through our online partners.

Here's the original sketch that was posted at the first of the month.
Be sure to come back on May 1st to see our next Sketch Challenge. Thanks!!Monday, April 12, 2010
April Sketch Blog Hop Winner

March Sketch Winner Announced!

A little about me…
I have reached that age, where they say life begins at 40, which I think is really true. Married to my loving and supportive husband Murray for 8 years. We have 2 beautiful girls Amy (6 years) and Chloe (2 years), they are my inspiration to scrapbook. I am born and bred in Durban, South Africa, a little city along the coastline. I had always been a keen card-maker, until my sister-in-law introduced me to the world of Scrapbooking in October 2001. I went for my first class at a local craft shop in November and you could say I had been bitten by the Scrappin Bug and am now hooked! When my husband and I had started to think about starting a family, the birth of my daughter motivated me to create a legacy to leave behind for her one day. As well as it being a hobby that I can actually loose myself in! My style….. well I don’t know that I have one, as my layouts range from simple to shabby to heritage and I am not afraid of colour or stretching my comfort zone. I try to keep as much focus on the photo`s - sometimes my style changes with the wind but I guess that is creativity for you. My most comfortable size is 12x12, although I also enjoy putting mini albums together and even venture off the page to home decor often. My weakness is that I try to be too perfect and my strength would be focusing on the photos.

Introducing SKETCHES to the Imaginisce Blog
Comments by Liz Qualman: "I have to say that this is probably one of my most favorite layouts ever! I LOVE the colors in the Scooter's Vacation Collection. I just took these photos of my daughter over the holidays and the colors of the papers were PERFECT for the layout. I mimicked the route sign design in the papers by creating a route sign die cut for my layout. I am so happy with the way it turned out."
