St. Patrick's Day Banner

Wrapping up our St. Patty's themed week we have this fabulous banner project designed by Nathalie Leonelli.

Did you celebrate Saint-Patrick’s Day yesterday? We don’t really do anything special in my family but I like to decorate for the occasion nonetheless. I pull out my kids Saint Patrick Day art and crafts from elementary school but since they are now in Junior and High school I don’t get any new ones, sooooo…. I decided to make my own decoration this year!

I created this banner with the Parrrty Me Hearty collection which has several hues of green perfect for the Irish celebration! The pennants from the “Shell-A-Brate” paper were my starting point.

After cutting 5 of them and adding Thickers (also from the Parrrty Me Hearty collection), I cut a series of slightly larger pennants from kraft cardstock to adhere them on.

You could use a punch or die-cutting machine but I hand cut a heart template and then 6 hearts from the “Sand Castles” paper to form the shamrocks.

I sewed around each pennant and then fed them one by one into the sewing machine to put the banner together. After doing that, I adhered the shamrocks and the little ribbon bows as my final touch.

I’ll probably keep it up a few more days because I like it so much

Thank you for stopping by and do not hesitate to let me know if you have any questions regarding the making of this project.

St. Patrick's Day Card & Welcome Spring Winner!!

Even cute little worms can rock out on St. Patrick's Day!!!

Courtney Lee

Hello! This is Courtney from Court's Crafts here with a fun little St. Patrick's Day card. I admit that I don't send a lot of St. Patty's Day cards which is embarrassing since I am mostly Irish. But I do enjoy sending them to smaller humans as I think they get a real kick out of getting something cute and quirky in the mail. :)

This little worm was super fun. I hid the face that was originally in the die cut and replaced it with a stamp so I could add a little more character. St. Patrick's Day is all about the sparkle for me so I added some glitter pretty much wherever I wanted to accent.

Now break out your Imaginisce patterned papers, find the greens, golds, and oranges and make a card for someone random - just to make them smile. :)

Supply List:
Imaginisce: Patterned Papers (Welcome Spring)
Imaginisce: Bling (My Baby)

Green, Green and more Green!!

Check out the shamrocks and pot of gold?  Katrina created a super fun layout below.

St. Patrick's Day Parade Memories

Are you wearing green?!  Well, St. Patty's Day is just right around the corner and I am here to share a layout from the parade that we went to last year.  I used mostly the Imaginisce collection, Welcome Spring, but also threw in just a little of Perfect Vacation.

And I was got the idea for a pot of gold using the i-Rock tool!  Simply, cut out a pot of gold die cut and then add bling with the i-Rock to create the "gold" at the end of the rainbow!

And there is not a St. Patrick's Day project that is not complete without some shamrocks!  I actually cut the file I had three times and just layered the different cardstock and pattern paper.  I slightly off-set each one to add some depth to the banner.

Thanks for stopping by the Imaginisce blog today!  And be sure to share your creations on Facebook with us!

Supply List:
Imaginisce: Pattern Papers (Welcome Spring, Perfect Vacation), Die Cuts (Welcome Spring), Bling (My Baby and i-Rock), i-Rock
American Crafts: Cardstock, Thickers

Rainbows & Framed Art

When you think of St. Patrick's Day what comes to mind? We picture shamrocks, pots of gold, rainbows and leprechauns.  Design Team member Christine took on the theme of rainbows in this beautiful designed project.

St. Patrick's Day Subway Art

Hi Imaginisce fans!  I decided to go the rainbow route for my St. Patrick's project and had sooooo much fun creating thsi frame!

I used my silhouette cameo to cut out the quote on white cardstock.  Using the negative space was way easier than trying to line up all the letters.  I backed each area with a color from the rainbow throwing in a turquoise line as well.

IRocks in a variety of colors made the perfect addition to each section adding a little dimension and sparkle to the whole thing.

A simple black frame and some black washi tape was the final touch

I love this fun little quote - it is such a good reminder that even when things aren't going the way I'd like to keep looking up!

Supplies Used:
Imaginisce: Patterned Paper (Childhood Memories, Welcome Spring, Perfect Vacation, Good Dog), IRocks
American Crafts: Cardstock
