Welcome to Day 4 of our Shaped Card Inspiration.
We hope that you've been inspired by the cards this past week to try something different.
TIP:
- If you don't any kind of die-cutting machine you could always use a pre-cut die-cut image and trace it onto some cardstock.
- Then flip the image over (creating a mirrored image) and trace again.
- Make sure that when you flip the image over that the top or side edge lines up with the 1st image that you traced (this will be your FOLD line).
- When you cut the image out you will not cut on the FOLD line.
Let's see what creative cards we have to share with you today.
For this card I used the Outdoor Adventure collection, as the warm colors of this collection were just perfect for the card I had in mind. I used my Silhouette Cameo to cut the shape of this card. Actually, I cut the shape twice (one mirrored) and stitched them together. So on the back of the card there's lots of space to write your message.
Supplies: Imaginisce (Outdoor Adventure: patterned paper). Tools: Silhouette Cameo and shape design (sunset) by Loni Stevens, sentiment design by Samantha Walker.
I loved this fun challenge! I made a fun birthday card in the shape of a camera. I used my Silhouette to cut out the shape and then I got to use all sorts of fun papers from Imaginisce. I used papers from the Childhood Memories and Good Dog collections. I love how well the two collections work together.
