Everyone loves our i-rock templates, we know because we keep selling through them and having to bring in more. Stores are telling us these are among the best selling item in their stores. Everyone loves a something they can use over and over again and have cute designs. Imaginisce actually has three different designs currently. We are working on next designs for next year. Be sure to keep reading to see how you can create your own or win one!!
Here's what the end result of the template design looks like when you remove it and the gems are left behind...beautiful don't you think?Another Tip: In stead of leaving the template in place and dropping each stone in and setting it inside the holes of the template, you can simply mark where the holes were with a pencil and go back and add the stones of your choice.
We've had tons of requests for more templates and we're working on some amazing designs hopefully to release for next year. But in the meantime, we've got a couple great ideas from our cute friend over at PinkCricut. She created two videos showing you how to create your own templates.
The first video shows you how to use your Crop-A-Dile hole punch to create your template. Here's a template design we worked up for you so you could try this technique out yourself. Click on the image to make it larger and open in new window and right click on it to save it to your computer to print (you can resize it too). Enjoy!!
You could also use one of my favorite tools to for this same technique. Some call it a Japanese Screw Punch and others call it an Anywhere Hole Punch. Simply print out your design and punch holes along the lines to create your gem pattern.
The second video shows those of you that have a Gypsy and Cricut how to easily create your own template from designs you have stores on your Gypsy. I've tried this and loved how amazing the designs turned out when I was finished.
FREE STUFF:
Let us know which of the PinkCricut videos you think you'll try and we'll giveaway one of our Template Kits and a new i-rock tool. Be sure to leave Sarah a comment so she knows you stopped by to check out her videos!! We'll announce all winners from previous weeks each Monday.

I'll be using the non-gypsy version, since I don't have one...I think this seems so simple, in my head, so we'll see how it turns out!! lol

Since, I don't have a Gypsy or a Cricut, I would have to go with the hole punch idea. What a great idea to make your own template.
Since I don't have the big bite (I watched Pink Cricut video earlier today) or the cricut..I would probably use my anywhere hole punch..or my BG templates. I can't wait to get my hands on the iRock..I am asking my DH for one for Christmas.
I would use the cricut, since I love using it for just about everything. I do however like the non-gupsy version. Great video and giveaway. I love the I-Rock tool!!

I think I would use the non-gypsy idea. I would probably just draw out my own design and add to that!! Do love the videos.
I will be using my anywhere punch! I have Design Studio (not a Gypsy yet) and I'm not patient enough to make the circles like that :) In fact, I'm going to try those today!!!
Love the videos!!!!!

I will definitely try using with my crop-a-dile!
I would use the Crop-a-Dile video, I usually work better when I can 'do it myself' :) Love the pillow, and love the idea of making my own templates!!
I am going to try the cropidile first and hope that I can find and Iroc somewhere to buy. They either aren't carried here or are sold out. I am having a tough time. Lol
Maybe I will get lucky and win one. Lol.

I like the crop-a-dile video
Great ideas on the videos! I think I will try both the crop-a-dile and cricut techniques shown in the videos.
I love the idea of making my own template with the cricut. Now if I only had an iRock....
;-)
I will most definitely try the Gypsy/Cricut idea. I love to find new ways to use these machines.
Thanks for the wonderful ideas!
Sandy
I tried commenting yesterday but it was blocked at work..UGH!!
I love all of the techniques, I do have a cricut but not a gypsy. I do have other ways to make templates but not the time so buying them is the easiest for me, now to just get an i-rock tool and I am all set :)
I would use the big bite... I-Rock looks like fun!
Both techniques look great, but I think I will try using my Big Bite to do one. Thanks for sharing.
I would so love to try this. I've been to our local Michaels and everytime I am there they are sold out. Oh well, when it's my time to get one it'll be there. I would use the anywhere hole punch idea since I also don't have the gypsy :( thanks for sharing
I have a Crop-A-Dile but not a Gypsy so I will be useing the Crop-A-Dile. I am so excited to find this video for this technique. thanks for shareing it. The I-rock is on my wish list but the Hobby Lobby where I live doesn't have it and Michael's is 100 miles away.
I'm going to try it with the cricut or the gypsy since I haven't put it to too much use yet. Thanks so much for the chance to win.

I would do the Crop-A-Dile technique. Her design looks fantastic.
Wow totally cool, I totally want an iRock!!!!! Sarah makes any crafts stuff enjoyable ..... U rock Sarah

I Love this idea, love the i rocks. I think the gypsy has my name on it for a template. Thanks for an genius concept...
dlwcaspell@gmail.com
I don't have a cricut, crop-a-dile or i-rock tool but definitely plan on improvising on Sarah's clever idea. I will try making my own flourish template with my Fiskars eyelet punch set as it has three different sized holes then stick on my rhinestones for bling.
Thank you for the chance to win an i-rock tool!!!
... I might get lucky and get to try my template out using the i-rock :)
TracyM #6773
I'd like to try the Crop-a-Dile version. It seems like it would be a simpler way to make them. However, I don't have an I-rock yet. My scrapbook store finally got some in and immediately sold out of them before I could get one! )-:
I will probably use both but the gypsy most. Still trying to get an I=rock hope to have it soon.
OOH! I just got a crop-a-sile and this is another great way to use it. AWESOME!
Hi,
I enjoyed PinkCricut's video on the Big Bite!!! :) I think I'll give it a try...
Jennifer
Since I don't own the gypsy yet, I will of course be trying the Cropadile version. It looks so easy and fun to do. I have a feeling that my 10 year old could do this. How she would love to have this tool so that she could bling out her older sisters hand me down jeans. (She won't wear them because the are boy jeans, no bling on them. The I-rock could save me a ton of money.
I love the tutorials. I'll be using the crop-a-dile big bite version. What a great way to create some "bling" on my projects.
Great video tutorials! I have all of the tools used in them and in this post, so I'll try each of the methods to see which one will work best for me.
TFS, and thanks for doing such a cool giveaway!
I like both but think I will try the non-gypsy one first. Love my Irock and this will definitely help to create even more designs.
