Day 3 - Love is in the Air!

Oh! Have we got some fun projects to show you today!
We asked a few of the Design Team members to create home decor/altered projects and they've come up with some fabulous stuff! (but then again, we wouldn't expect anything but that!!)

Rhonda did an incredible job altered this heart shaped box. The rolled flowers & lace are just the perfect touch.

Tiffany covered this heart shaped wreath and decorated it beautifully with the Roly Rosies fabric flowers. Definitely a perfect way to welcome your guests at the front door!

Adora altered this shadow box. Look at all the detail! We love how she added the rhinestones, Roly Rosies and the ribbon on the outside. That Houndstooth patterned combined with the red are just so striking! This is definitely a gorgeous frame to display in your home.

Are you enjoying the projects so far? We certainly hope so!

I never celebrated Valentine's Day until my grandson was born. This will be the 7th year that I have, and I'm going to make brownie hearts with arrows through them for my husband - first time ever! So this coming V-Day will be the one I call a "favorite"!

Years ago back in high school a boy I liked bought me a big valentine heart cookie. Totally unexpected, I didn't think he knew I had a crush on him. Is it wrong this wasn't about my husband?

We were married Feb 10 (back in the dark ages) and my husband was working nights. He forgot Valentine's day until he was on his way home in the wee hours of the morning, and the only place open was the gas station. I got one of those packs of 10 bars of Zero candy bars that year. LOVED it, LOL.

Gorgeous projects. Love the shadow box!
My fav memory was about 10yrs ago when my husband surprised me by bringing home a gift for me and our then 3yr old daughter. We're not big on gifts and when we give them it's usually me shopping for them so it was really sweet watching him give his gift to our daughter.

My best Valentine's day was when I finally got word from a friend with the UN stationed in Bosnia. I had waited for ever to get a sign that he was alright, and yes, he was! :)

Best Valentine's memory is the tradition my husband and I created with our best friends of going to an amazing restauraunt and spending the evening together. We went every year for many years straight before we had to move away. Miss that tradition.

Well it's not really for me pre- say but we had a blast in Vegas for my Dad's wedding in 1995!! He got married in The Little White Chapel!! It was very nice!! As for me, we go to the State Fair every year either the weekend before or after and have a wonderful time walking around, riding rides and eating that Yummy fair food :) That beats a box of chocolate anyday!

Love all the beautiful creations! My favorite memory is last valentines day when my husband took our 3 year old to the jewelry store and let him pick out a necklace for me-my son has very good taste!

My favorite Valentines memory was when my ex husband brought me a gift home when we were married and I had no idea what it was. I opened it, and it was a beautiful necklace from Kay jewelers. :) he took photos of me opening it, so I was able to scrapbook them.

Lovely Love projects today. My favorite Valentine memory happened too many years ago to count, I was I think 9 or 10 y.o. I had one of the little girl crushes on a boy in my class. Well this particular valentines day, he drew my name for the valentine gift swap. He bought me what I believe to this day the nicest gift. A solid gold lapel pin of my name. I still have that pin and only wear it on special occasions. Thanks so much for sharing the beautiful artwork.

My all-time favorite Valentine's Day memory is from my childhood. My mom used to put little chocolate hearts underneath our pillow with a love note so that we woke up to find it on V day morning! To this day, my Mom is one of my favorite Valentine :)

My favorite Valentine's Day memory is the way my husband addresses and signs his cards. He always has a simple yet sweet way to express himself. I love receiving his cards because they are special glimpses into his romantic side.

Love the projects, especially the heart wreath!! My favorite valentines day was when my boyfriend (now dh!) took me to the ballet! Then after we went to a hotel and he had flower petals and close to 100 little boxes leading to a giant heart on the bed. The boxes were full of candy and notes and certificates for things like messages! Too bad he's never done anything like that since!

My favorite Valentines memory was my first one with my soon to be husband. Nice dinner out, beautiful flowers, a girl couldn't ask for more.

My favorite Valentine's memory is fairly recent - from 3 years ago, when I gave my kids each a coupon book - made with my Cricut and stash supplies, of course. My daughter used hers right away - for things like extra dessert, lunch brought up to school, an item from the Target dollar spot.
But - my son took his sweet time! (He's a hoarder, sorta like his mama. ;) ) Just several months ago, he came up to me with one of those coupons for extra video game time - no expiration date on those things, so we called it good. :D

These are so pretty! My favorite V-day was when I was engaged to my now hubby and I was living up in Cleveland with him and his parents while I was interning at a Children's Home... anywho, on Valentines day that year I woke up as normal and got ready for work as I went out to warm my car up there in my car were a bunch of teddy bears each one sitting in its own seat with a seat belt on and all of them had some little treat on their laps! It was the cutest thing ever, and it still makes me smile to this day! Thanks so much!

THis may seem strange but my favourite valentines memory was a 5 or so years ago when I was working at the lab in the hospital until 11pm and first a courier showed up with flowers for me and a box of chocolates for myself and my coworker (there were only 2 of us working that evening) I though that was very sweet of my husband to do that and was very surprised since we don't normally make any sort of big deal of valentines. I went to go on my supper break when who should walk through the door with plates of steak, lobster, baked potato and cupcakes for dessert for myself my coworker and himself but my adoring husband. We don't even normally make this big if a deal about birthdays but I had been really down the month or more leading up to that and had kudney stone attacks all the weekend prior and a horrible evening at work the day before so Ge decided to go all out and over the top to cheer me up. Well... It definitely worked and will stand out in my memory for a VERY ling time if not forever!

My favorite Valentines Day memory is my grandson being born on Valentines Day in 2001. He was 3 weeks early and is the sweetest little boy that I know.

My favorite memory was in college when my boyfriend sent me red roses in a red vase. It was the 1st time I had ever received flowers!

OHHH! That wreath is BEAUTIFUL! LOVE!

My fav vday memory would be....well, we don't really celebrate vday because we celebrate our love all year. But in high school---I was part of a group called Sunshine Club. We would send gifts to a friend/family member anonymously throughout the year. On holidays, esp. vday---it was fun to walk out the front doors near everyone's packages and vases of flowers. I always loved looking for my gift.

Thanks so much for the chance to win:) sbmmhoover at yahoo dot com

I love the heart box! My favorite memory, since we don't do much just for the one day, was several years ago when one of my husband's co-workers chewed him out for not doing anything for me and insisted he go out and buy me flowers and brought me my favorite lunch. We just laughed over that.

Awesome projects! -- My favorite Valentine memories are from my Dad. He always gives all us girls a card and he always finds a way to sneak something funny into it. He always puts something on the back of the card too. It's the first place I look each year. Just got his card in the mail today and I couldn't wait to open it.
