Good Dog Release Party - Day 1

Welcome to Day One of our Release Party for the new collection,
If you are a dog owner or dog lover than you are sure to love this collection.
The papers & embellishments are so fun and you are in for a week full of incredible inspiration from our Design Team.

So grab your cup of coffee 'cause it's a long one!
Let's get started today.

*********

"Our Jippie"
When I saw how colorful this collection is I knew immediately which photo of our dog I wanted to use. This photo has been lying in my drawer for ages, but I never found the "just right" papers ... until now! The colors of Jippie's toy match the colors of this collection exactly! Do you want to know a fun detail? The toy was originally a present for my youngest son, then 2 years old, but as soon as Jippie saw the toy she grabbed it and wouldn't let go! Maybe she knew it was a toy made for dogs?

Supplies: Good Dog: Patterned Paper: Dog Parade (400098), Doggy Mail (400099), Speak Dog (400100), Dog Dreams (400101), Dawg Days (400103),  Paw Prints (400106); Sticker Stackers: Fur-ever Friends (400113); Other supplies: American Crafts: Cardstock and Thickers; Stamps: Studio Calico; Hemptique: Twine; Staples: misc. Tools: Big Shot diecutting machine; Dies: Joycrafts, Die-namics.

"Hello" card:
For my cards I always like to layer a lot of different papers on top of each other with the doily as the finishing touch. And I just had to add the chipboard sticker of the doggie ... isn't she the cutest?

Supplies: Good Dog: Patterned Paper: Doggy Mail (400099), Dog Dreams (400101), Spotty Dog (400104); Chipboard Stickers: Fluffy & Stuff (400115); Other supplies: American Crafts: Cardstock; Mini alpha stickers: My Little Shoebox; Pen: Stabilo; Doily: misc. Tools: Big Shot diecutting machine; Cuttlebug Embossing Folder.

"Puppy Love"

My family doesn't include a dog (much to my daughter's dismay) but that didn't exclude me from being able to use this collection! On a recent trip to Paris to visit my sister, her son provided me with the perfect opportunity to showcase some of the fun elements in "Good Dog".  Rather than journal in one of the journal spots, I fussy cut it providing a frame for my picture. The paws are jazzed up a touch to highlight the heart and the paw print is the perfect size to fit in a medium Brad Daddy.

Imaginisce Supplies:
Patterned Paper:  In the Dog House,, Dog Biscuits, Dog Dreams, Dog Parade, Doggy Mail
Doggie Diecuts, Fluffy & Stuffy Chipboard Stickers, i-Top and medium Brad Daddies

"Paw Prints on My Heart"

I love the interchangeability of Imaginisce stickers. You can pull them apart, rearrange them, use it as is. They are so diverse in their uses. Here the pawprint is left as is while the dog dish and dog are the popped elements with the "background" left for another use. I couldn't resist putting a welcome sign on the dog house door!

Imaginisce Suppies:
Patterned Paper: Dawg Days, In the Dog House, Dog Parade, Dog Biscuits, Paw Prints, Doggy Mail
Sticker Stackers: Fur-ever Friends, Doggy Diary
Doggie Diecuts, i-Rock and Glam Rocks

"Hello Miss Lucy"

Our family loves dogs.  The newest addition to our family is Lucy. She is an English Cream Golden Retriever.  The Good Dog collection was THE perfect collection to use for Lucy's Welcome home photo.  This paper is just so much fun. The designs for the paper are just incredible and I am in love with the embellishments.  For this layout I went a little crazy and used almost all of the papers in this collection.  I just kept layering the papers because they are just so awesome.

Supplies:
paper- Imaginsice Good Dog
chipboard- Imaginisce Good Dog
Stickers- Imaginisce Good Dog
Die Cuts- Imaginisce Good Dog
buttons- personal stash
mist- studio calico
tools- I top (small and medium brads), I top punches, Silhouette (title)
adhesive- Imaginisce foam tape

Treat Bag

So many of our friends have Fur Babies.  Whenever we go to someone's house I like to have a little treat for the four legged friends. This little Treat Bag is just perfect to bring a couple of milk bones and it looks just so darn cute.  To make this bag I used my Silhouette and cut the template out.  I then used some clear acetate packaging from the die cut shapes and cut it to fit the window ( I am a very frugal scrapper and I always use every part of the product- even the packaging!).  Next I adhered the bag together with my I Bond.  This way I know the bag will not come apart.  Finally I embellished the bag.  I can't wait to bring this little treat to our friend's house!

Supplies:
paper- Imaginsice Good Dog
Die Cuts- Good Dog
Stamps- Imaginisce Snag'em Good Gog
ink- Jenni Bowlin inks
Twine- personal stash
Tools- I Bond, Silhouette

Tag

When I cut out my template for my Treat Bag, I was left with a cool die cut piece where the window goes.   I never like to throw any paper away so I decided to use this great piece and make a tag. I made another die cut slightly larger to create a layered tag.  I then used my Snag'Ems and stamped my sentiment.  I then then stamped the image again on some white cardstock in red ink and cut it out and layered it on top so that the read heart would stand out.  Finally I had to bling it up just a bit and added some red hearts using my I Rock.

Supplies:
paper-Imaginisce Good Dog
Stamps- Imaginisce Snag'Em Good Dog
Ink- Hero Arts, Jenni Bowlin
Tools- I Rock ( Glam Rocks)
Twine- Personal Stash

"Paw Prints On My Heart"

Designer Tip:  When cutting a mat for your photo, add a v-cut on one side to create a large banner.  You can also layer different sized banners for a dramatic effect.   Look for small images on the patterned paper that you are using.  Use the i-top to create your own personalized brad that matches perfectly with your layout!

Supplies Used: Good Dog Collection-Speak Dog, Dog Parade, Dog Biscuits, Dawg days,Paw Prints, Dog Dreams ; Doggie Diecuts; Fur-ever Friends Sticker Stackers; Doggy Diary Sticker Stackers;  i-top, Small Paper Punch, Small Brad Daddies.  Twine from The Twinery

Other Supplies:  Googly Eye, Heart Confetti Punch, Heart Punches of various sizes.

"Fur-Ever Friends"

Designer Tip:  I really liked the heart shape of the Snag-em Stamp: I Heart Dogs.  You can ink only the image you want on the stamp if you don't want the entire stamp image on your project.  I used the stamped the heart image on top of the teal side of the Paw Prints paper. I then used my circle punch and punched each heart out. I layered small punched out hearts on top of the stamped image.

Supplies Used: Good Dog Collection- Speak Dog, Dog Parade, Doggy Mall, Paw Prints, Dog Dreams; Doggie Die Cuts, Doggy Diary Sticker Stackers, I Heart Dogs Snag-em Stamp; i-rock, Glam Rocks-hearts

Other Supplies: Twine from the Twinery; Signo Pen, Ranger Industries Ink., Circle punches, Heart punch
