i-bond Extravaganza - Day 3

Have you been enjoying the i-bond projects from our Design Team?
I'm always amazed at how creative they are and the new ideas that they constantly come up with!

Well, today is another one of those days filled with super ideas from 3 more of our designers.
So welcome to Day 3 of our i-bond Extravaganza!

Crafty Pin Board

I wanted to create a pin board for my scrappy space that could be used for keeping track of my scrappy deadlines and due dates. I bought a frame and covered the backing with cork that was thin enough to easily roll through with my CutBright rotary cutter. I covered the whole backing using my iBond and firmly rubbed the cork down. The iBond doesn't get as hot as your "average" glue gun so I recommend applying a line, then adhering down that small section of cork and moving your way down. I learned the hard way as I had a solid lump of dried glue under the first section of my cork board.

Wanting a bit more pizazz, I stamped the edges with paint that coordinated with the Love You More collection that I had chosen for the banner and note card.

I also used the iBond to glue a thumb tack into the back of a magnet backing thus enabling me to use the iTop to make my own fancy matching thumb tacks! As if that wasn't enough bonding, the flowers are held in their floral glory with the iBond and fastened to the cork with more hot glue from the iBond! I hope you are inspired to break out the iBond and bond!!

Supplies
Imaginisce: Patterned paper and letter stickers: Love You More; tools: iTop, brad daddies, magnet daddies, iBond, Hybrid petal roller, CutBright LED Rotary Cutter; Roly Rosies: Fabric Pink Swirls, Pinks Paper Flowers
Other: Frame (11x14) and cork: Hobby Lobby; foam stamp: Donna Downy; paint: Deco Art; Twine: The Twinery

Doggie Gift Bag

My dog has her birthday next month and I thought it would be fun to create a little gift bag with some dog sweets for her.

Supplies: Imaginisce (Good Dog collection: patterned papers, oversized die cuts).

Flower Pendant Necklace

Hello there!  For my I-Bond project, I experimented with hot glue and stamps.  I had a blast and created a flower pendant necklace.  Yes, it's hot glue….I know, wow!  To make the pendant, I started with a clear stamp and Turquoise Versa mark ink.  I turned the inked stamp over so that it was laying inked side up.  I then squeezed clear hot glue over the top of the stamp with the I-bond.  After waiting just a few seconds, I flipped the stamp over on to my glass mat and pressed the stamp down so that it spread the hot glue evenly over the stamp.

Then, I let the glue cool slightly before peeling up the stamp.  To give it a shiny look, I put a thin layer of Ranger's glossy accents over the flower.  To give the pendant definition I used a black felt marker and went over the lines the stamp made for the flower petals.  I just can't resist bling so I hot glued a large rhinestone to the center of the flower.

Once everything was dry, I hot glued the flower pendant to the silver pendant piece found in Imaginisce's Magni-top Necklace and Pendant collection.  And there you are folks, a beautiful necklace!  Grab yourself an I-bond and get creative!
Supplies:  Imaginisce: I-Bond, Clear hot glue,
Rhinestone, Imaginisce's Magni-top Necklace and Pendant flower;
Other: stamp (Making Memories), Turquoise Versa Mark Ink, Ranger Glossy Accents, Black felt marker.

Oh my goodness... I didn't know a person could use their hot glue low temp gun to put on their stamp to make an impression with it! Holy heavens i've seen the light! My question is: does that work with orange rubber stamps and.... clear gummy stamps or just the Rubber stamps found on wood blocks????
