i-Top Feature Week - Day 2

Welcome to Day 2 of our i-Top Feature!

Today we are sharing projects created by our designers using the Magnet Daddies.
These come in 3 sizes (16mm, 22mm, and 28mm).

These are so much fun because the projects that can be created using the magnets are endless!!!

Let's take a look at what some of our designers have created.

Altered Magnetic Photo Box

For this project I wanted to use the Magnet Daddies in a fun and interactive way. I decided to alter the tin to create a fun place to keep summer photos! I added patterned paper to both sides of the tin and embellished one side with chipboard and stickers.

On the other side of the tin I wanted to be able to replace photos whenever I needed too.  The Magnet Daddies are perfect for this! I covered the small magnet daddies and used the to hold my photos up:

The best thing is, you can switch it up as much as you need too:

I also added some larger magnets from the Magnet Daddies (large) set and adhered them with the i-bond to the fun Endless Summer Die-cuts. Now you can have photos and embellishments changed around anytime you wish.

Any extra Magnet Daddies I had, I placed on the side of the altered Photo Box:

Finally, my favorite-  you can store all your favorite summer photos, along with any extra die-cuts in the tin!  The tin would also be perfect to store a mini album!

Supplies Used: Imaginisce- Patterned Paper, Chipboard Stickers & Die cuts: Endless Summer Collection; ABC Stickers- Childhood Memories; Imaginisce Tools: i-top; small paper punch; magnet daddies (small) & magnet daddies (large); i-bond and clear mini glue sticks.   Other: Maya Road Tin; May Arts Ribbon;  Adhesive: Mod Podge; Punch: Stampin' Up!

Magnetic Chalk Board

Today I have a project that I am just crazy about! I made some special magnets with the Imaginisce Magnet Daddies and I-Top tool for this magnetic chalk board I picked up at Target. And of course I had to jazz it up with some other Imaginisce goodies! My sweet, sweet girl is always drawing/coloring pretty pictures for me and I never have had a great place to display them until now!

Want to know how you can make your own? Let me show you!

First I started out by using the I-Top punches and centered it on pictures that I wanted for my magnets and got my Magnet Daddies ready.

Then I centered the pictures in the I-Top tool...

making sure I had the magnet piece (included in packages of Magnet Daddies) between the top piece and the bottom piece and punched it all together to complete the magnet.

Here is a close up of the 3 magnets I made for my project.

And here is a look at the completed project before it was adorned with some beautiful artwork.

And a close up shot of the bottom right hand corner. I really hope this inspires you to create a place for your special little one's artwork!

Imaginisce supplies used: Patterned Papers (Childhood memories, Good Dog), Alphas (Love You More), I-Top tool, I-Top punches, Magnet Daddies (28mm and 22mm)

Other supplies used: magnetic chalk board from Target, ribbon from May Arts, Silhouette

Magnets

I'm happy to share with you the unconventional way I used the Magnet Daddies.  I gathered my large Magnet Daddies and the small Magnet daddies -- using the tops of the large and the backs/magnets of the small magnet daddies.

I punched 1" photos and patterned paper and adhered them with white foam tape to the INSIDE of the large Magnet Daddies tops.  I adhered the small backs to the back of the tops and the magnets to the back of that.  Leaving me with personalized strong magnets!

SUPPLIES:
Large Magnet Daddies
Small Magnet Daddies
White Foam Tape
Patterned Paper: Good Dog

Magnet Board

One of my favorite tools from Imaginisce is the I Top!  There are so many wonderful things that you can create with it.  For my project I used the Magnet Daddies and I created a Magnet Board for my scraproom.  I can hang some inspiration or lists of things to do.  I created a video on  how to create one of these boards and how to use the I Top.

Mary Pat also created a video of her creation.
Feel free to take a look at it by clicking on the link below.

Supply List:

mmmmmmmmm magnets! Yeah! The possibilities... hmmmm Besides what was shown here by your magnificent designers with their magnetic personalities I think I would create magnets for my kids school lockers and magnets for a weekly chores chart. I think they would be great for making magnetic game pieces for a metal game board when travelling so pieces don't fly away if you hit a bump or turn a corner when driving in the car.

I would these magnets on the fridge with the family pictures, give away some to my kids' classmates and also have them stick on the chore chart! It would be nice to have those in my garden as a label to show off what I have planted and use them on those magnetic sheets.

I've been looking for something small but interesting that I could put into a geocache as a prize for people who solved a scavenger hunt puzzle challenge. There are two teams in the game so the magnet daddies made with the team logos would be the perfect "treasure" to find in the geocache.

I would make magnets for the grandparents of their grandchild and attach on to a dress up doll in a metal container with lots of clothes to play with.
