Black Ice Reveal Party - Day 2

Welcome to Day 2 of our Black Ice Reveal Party.
We hope that you enjoyed the projects yesterday because we have even more for you today!!

Now before we start sharing those projects we want to give you a look at some of the 'extra's' that come with this collection.

Black Medallion Circle Labels

Silver Medallion Circle Labels

Hypnotic Place Cards

Tree Line Place Cards

Now let's see what our designers have created.

"For You" and  "Wishing You all Thing Fabulous" Card

This collection is so elegant, the pattern in black and white is just beautiful. For my first project I created two cards, when it comes to cards you know that you can never have too many :) These are my just because cards, great for almost any kind of occasions. Very handy to have!

Supplies Used: Black Ice Collection, Hampton Art Stamp, Tombow  Retro Dual Brush Pen.

 Decorated Shadowbox Frame

This pink shadowbox frame is one of my garage sales find for less than a dollar, I say score, right!!! :)  I love the black and white with a touch of pink, and with the added embellshments, who can tell the bargain behind this project.   Surely the Black Ice Collection is elegant but it can also be cute, pretty and more.

Supplies used: Black Ice Collection,  Tombow Dual Brush Pen, Imaginisce I-Top tool, Imaginisce Button Daddies and Martha Stewart Butterfly Punch.

"Friends"
When I saw this collection I immediately fell in love with it.  There are so many ways to use this collection.  I chose to make a monochromatic layout of my sons.  I know I went a bit crazy but I loved layering all the different pattern papers because they are all so beautiful!

supply list: paper- imaginisce; flair- a flair for buttons; button- paper trey ink; twine- the stringery; wood veneer- studio calico; Silhouette

"Thanks"
When I saw this gorgeous flowers on the pattern paper I knew I needed to fussy cut them out and feature them on a card.  I first cut an invitation down to fit my A2 card size and then placed my cut out flower in the center.  So very simple but oh so elegant.

supply list: card, paper- imaginisce; I Rock and Glam Rocks; Paper Smooches; Hero Arts

Wedding Z-Fold Card

I wanted to create a wedding card that could also be kept as a keepsake and double as a framed photo. I saw these Z-Fold cards on Pinterest and thought the design would work very well because it will fold flat for mailing. Using the elegant papers, I created the different elements of the card and added a photo from my own wedding (almost 15 years ago!) The pretty flower in the paper made for a perfect "catch" for the photo, and I cut out the frame from the Striped Invitation Pack card as its base. My husband and I don't actually have any of our wedding photos up around the house, so this card will be a perfect way to display a memento of our perfect day.

Supplies used:
(patterned paper, invitation card from Black Ice collection) Imaginisce; (card stock) American Crafts; (dies) Taylored Expressions; (ribbon) Kate's Paperie

May Your Love Bloom Card

I really love the Invitation Pack cards for Black Ice. They are thick and sturdy, and the designs are simply divine. I was particularly taken by the tree image in the Tree Line invitation and wanted to create a card around it. Using patterned paper from the collection, I matted the trimmed card and created a simple layout, adding some ribbon and an embossed sentiment. For some added elegance, I added some Glam Rocks to the tree with my trusty i-Rock tool.

Supplies used:
(patterned paper, invitation card from Black Ice collection) Imaginisce; (card stock) Stampin' Up; (dies and stamped sentiment) Taylored Expressions; (ribbon) May Arts; (embossing powder) Stampin' Up; (Glam Rocks and i-Rock tool) Imaginisce

Thank You Card

The Black Ice collection is so starkly beautiful and I wanted to create a striking thank you card. I used the contrasting patterned papers and stamped a big, bold sentiment. I wanted to create my own floral embellishment, so I used the i-Top and made a brad using the patterned paper and added it to a die-cut flower.

Supplies used:
(patterned paper from Black Ice collection) Imaginisce; (card stock) Stampin' Up; (stamped sentiment and flourish); (Brad Daddy and i-Top tool) Imaginisce; (dies) Sizzix

"You Make Me Smile" layout

Normally black and white is not the color combination I would choose when I scrap my photos, but this collection is so beautiful I loved it this time! I chose a b/w photo of my daughter and I added a few bits and pieces I cut with my Cameo.

Supplies: Imaginisce (Black Ice: patterned paper). Other supplies:Bazzill Basics: cardstock; ribbon: misc. Tools: Silhouette Cameo (title, doilies, bird with heart), Martha Stewart punches (butterflies, row of birds).

Photo Frame

I really love this collection. It's so versatile! It can be used for all sorts of projects. In this case I've used it for this "classic" photo frame.

Supplies: Imaginisce (Black Ice: patterned paper), I-Top brads (medium). Other supplies: Bazzill Basics: cardstock; K&Company: black pen. Tools: Imaginisce: I-Top and medium Paper Punch; Silhouette Cameo (sentiment), Martha Stewart punches (butterflies).
