Frame it with an i-top - Fleur Smith

Welcome back to another day of our designer spotlight this month.

Today we have the talented Fleur Smith sharing a super fun project with us.

Savary 2012

My favorite summer place is our friend’s cabin on Savary Island, it’s right on a beach and no electricity so we all have to disconnect from our electronic devices and reconnect with each other.

Our favorite activities are hiking, fishing, making a giant sandcastle, relaxing and watching the wildlife.

I have thousands of photos from our week there and wanted to incorporate as many as I could on a project so I thought of doing a framed piece.

I cut all my photos to 4”x4” and mounted them on patterned paper, and then I added die cuts and stickers that coordinated with the photos.

I also used the I-top to create some coordinating brads that I could add to the photos and tags.

The I-top is so easy and fun to use, just pick the paper you would like to use and punch it out with the I-top punch

Then place your paper and blank brads in the tool and give a little squeeze.

Supplies: Patterned Paper, Die Cuts, Stickers and Chipboard Stickers - Imaginisce Outdoor Adventure Collection and Imaginisce Endless Summer collection, Imaginisce I-Top, Medium I-Top punch, Medium I-Top Brad Daddies, Frame from the Thrift Store

Thanks Fleur. What a great idea.  I'm going to have to give that a try sometime.

Milk Paint
This paint is a powder based paint that doesn't dry out! (because it's powder!)
You mix it with water to the desired consistency. You can even create a stain by using less water.
Chipboard Albums
These albums go along with our Milk Paint products.
They are thick chipboard that you can paint on & they won't warp!

We're very excited about these new products that we're releasing this CHA and hope that you'll enjoy them as well!
