"Back to School" with Jodi & Sara

We've been having the most incredible summer here because the weather has been incredible.  Thinking about school is definitely not on our minds. However, there are many students that are getting ready to go back in a few weeks, ... some even begin today!!

So we thought it would be fun to share some inspiration with you whether it's for your a teacher or for you aspiring student.  Our design team has created some wonderful projects that you are sure to love.

We invite you to join us over the next 2 weeks for our "Back 2 School" theme.
So .... class is ready to resume!

School Notes Altered Book

It's always fun to start the year off right with a fun notebook! Its fun and easy to do!

Choose your background patterned paper, and cover the book completely. Add designer tape to the binding and then add some details to really get the back to school look (I added and apple!)

Supplies Used:  Patterned Paper: Childhood Memories & Good Dog; Love you More: Washi
Tape; Alpha Stickers: Childhood Memories; Other supplies: Twine by the Twinery

Lunch Bag

With back to school at my house means packing my son's lunch everyday!  I decided to make a fun lunch sack for him to take on the first day. I created a header for the bag and its easy to measure what you need by first creating the fold in your bag.  I also made this cute note card to go inside the bag to give him a surprise message!

Supplies:
Imaginisce : Childhood Memories
Other: Paper Bag, Adhesive, Border Punch

Please join us again tomorrow for more great school themed ideas!

I love the look of the covered notebook. Can you tell me where you purchased the notebook to cover?

EdaMommy, I purchased a composition notebook from the Dollarstore in Canada.... they probably have similar ones at any dollar store... hope that helps!
