Flower Power Party - Day 4

A floral farewell!
Sadly, we've reached the final day of our four day party? It seems like only yesterday the team were busy rolling up a storm in preparation for this week and now it's almost over. Can you believe the amount of amazing projects you've seen so far and there's still a few more to come!

Now we know from your comments that you have been inspired to try out your own creations using the new and original roly rosies and roly posies so we thought we'd dig out a wonderful video that our design team member Erin Bassett made when the original roly flowers were first released. Enjoy!

Okay, now you know how to make the flowers - so let's dive straight into today's projects to see what you can make!

Design team member Tracey has created  a gorgeous headband and wristband set using both the new pink swirl and text print fabric roly rosies. Tracey has also provided a tutorial on her blog which you can find HERE.

by Tracey Taylor

And now it's time to put down that roller as Tracey steps outside the box and uses the fabric roly rosies in their un-rolled form as a delicate edging to her layout. Can you believe how amazing this looks? We just love it!

Another beautiful design team member, aren't we just the luckiest? So many of our girls have jumped in front on their camera's (which is not something that happens too often) and taken self portraits wearing their darling creations. Keely is today's top model sporting her 'Mother's Day' hat using all three of the new fabric roly rosie designs.

And speaking of Mother's Day, Keely shares with us a beautiful Mom's pin using the fabric pink swirl roly rosie mounted onto a crotchet doily.

APOLOGIES:
We would like to apologize as Blogger has been a bit naughty and deleted our post from this point onwards which was quite a bit of work down the drain, not to mention all your wonderful comments to win our Give-Away! So rather than go through all the hard work again, we are simply going to upload all the missing photos and which designer created them and then the 'Give-Away' brief at the bottom. We sincerely apologize to those of you who had already left comments to enter the give-away, but unfortunately you are going to have to enter again. Sorry!

Flower Power Party - Day 3

Welcome back to day three of inspiration using the new Roly Rosies and Roly Posies from our Gotta Buy Basics range. You wouldn't believe how many flowers our design team have rolled over the past few days and there are still lots more to come. Just wait until you see what's we've got lined up for you today!

Firstly, we have another new product in the dual purpose badge/pin combo which allows you to create a single decorative piece that can be pinned or clipped to just about anything including your clothing, hair, hats, bags, shoes etc the ideas are endless. So today we begin with a darling flower from Cari using the new badge/pin combo and the fabric pink swirl Roly Rosie. Cari models two different ways to wear her pretty creation.

by Cari Locken

It's not often we scrap ourselves but when Cari had the chance to scrap this beautiful photo of herself with her precious daughter she decided to give it the full attention it deserved. A stunning layout with clean lines, pops of sparkle and the most enchanting spray of flowers to complete the page. Cari has used a combination of the  warm colour paper rosies and the fabric text rosies with a pearl brad in the centre of the two larger flowers.

From a single flower to a multitude of flowers with Shemaine's breathtaking wreath. We can only imagine how long this wreath took from start to finish but the end result is definitely worth the effort. And there's no point mentioning each of the different Roly Rosies and Posies because Shemaine has used them ALL!

by Shemaine Smith

Have you ever been stuck for ideas when needing a gift for a special teacher? Shemaine is brimming with ideas and here's one that would put a smile on anyone's face if they were lucky enough to recieve such a sweet treat. Take one jar and in this case it's a recycled sun-dried tomato and olive oil jar from Trader Jones, fill with See's Candy and decorate. Shemaine has used the Roly Rosies in cool colours.

WARNING: Anyone with a little girl or girls may need close the door before they view the next photo because if the little princesses of your house get one look at this project, you can be assured the rest of your week will be spoken for. You will be begged, nagged and hassled into making a replica outfit just like the one Liz has made for her little girl Maddie.

by Liz Qualman

Liz purchased a inexpensive veil she found at Walmart and by adding a bouquet of Roly Rosie Neutrals and brown sheer ribbon she has transformed it into a beautiful dress-up fit for any princess. And we're sure you will all agree, Maddie is the perfect model. Thanks Maddie.

by Liz Qualman

Rhonda has also decorated a veil but it's an itty bitty version of Maddie's and is attached to a delightful Monogram 'R' for her craft room. Who wouldn't love to have something like this decorating their door or wall in their crafty space? Rhonda has used the cool colour tones of the new Roly Rosies and a hint of the denim Roly Rosie in conjunction with cristal flourishes using her i-rock to perfect the overall look!

by Rhonda Van Ginkel

Rhonda is another design team member that isn't afraid to use flowers on a 'man' card. She has created this handsome father's day card using all things 'unmanly'... a bow, a doily, a charm, decorative pins and flowers and let's be honest, it's fantastic! What bloke wouldn't love to recieve this?

Rhonda has used the popular combination of the Roly Rosie cool colours and the Roly Rosie denim flowers.

Aren't we lucky having such a good looking design team. Not only are they talented but they are photogenic too! Heather has lovingly adorned her three-stand pearl necklace with a trio of fabric pink swirl rosies, and transformed it into a showstopper! Couldn't you see yourself wearing something like this to your next special outing?

by Heather Leopard
And how about we take today out with a 'bang' - or perhaps an explosion of colour with Heather's amazing 'pot of glory'. Heather is another design team member that is going to be putting their hand up for needing more supplies as we're sure she will have used up her entire stash with this amazing display. And again, we don't think we'll even try to work out what she has used, let's just say she's used EVERYTHING!

Flower Power Party - Day 2

Welcome back to our second day of fun with the new collection of Roly Rosies and Posies. We hope you enjoyed yesterdays projects and from the lovely comments we recieved everyone is dying to get their hands on these wonderful new additions to our line of products.

And speaking of new additions, we have a new tool too! The new roller tool has a larger quilling end to accommodate the thicker fabric flowers in denim, pink swirl and text print.

The fabric flowers have been quite a hit with our design team and today's line-up is no exception starting with Lydia's gorgeous head-band using the denim flowers, and what a lovely model pose from Lydia.

Lydia cleverly put together this sweet headband with the rolled flowers and added touches of feathers and lastly a denim covered brad using her i-top tool.

by Lydia Jackson

Now we go from a simple and stylish headband to a terracotta-pot in full bloom from Beth. We are guessing that Beth hasn't got too many flowers left in her collection after putting together this masterpiece using Roly Rosies in warm tonings and Roly Rosies in neutral tonings.

by Beth Moore

Well Beth did have one last flower left in her collection and it made the perfect statement to her stylish yet simple card. This single fabric text print flower completed the overall look beautifully.

by Beth Moore

Erin is another design team member who has used up quite a few of her flower supplies in making this amazing framed shadow box with a wonderful array of the new roly rosies in cool and warm tonings. Wouldn't this make the ideal gift for that special friend who needs a lift?

Erin has supplied us with this wonderfully detailed look at each flower she created.

We've been showing you lots of wonderful ways to use your roly flowers on projects away from the traditional scrapbooking layout so we thought it might be a good idea to show how well these flowers work on the good old 12 x 12 layout and who else does it better than Samantha as we get to see the flowers used on both a layout in pink and a layout in blue.

by Samantha Hauzer

Our final designer of the day is Melinda Spinks who likes to stray from what we'd typically call the 'norm' and has created a vanilla scented glass bauble which she has decorated with not just the roly rosies in cool and neutral colours but has also used the i-bond and the new solid glue sticks in white to give her bauble a dripped candle-wax effect.

by Melinda Spinks

And just in case you were wondering how Melinda made her project, you can visit Melinda's blog HERE where she has supplied a few of her secrets.

Flower Power Party - Day 1

Firstly, we hope everyone had a wonderful Mother's day yesterday, whether you are a Mum yourself or you were celebrating with your own Mother. And how fitting that today we introduce our new range of Roly Rosies and Posies that are making their way out into the retail world.

All this week we are going to showcase the new collection of Roly flowers with fabulous projects from our design team along with lots of lovely give-aways. So how about we kick off our release party with a beautiful work of art from Aphra.

Aphra's floral heart frame is a stunning display that shows how perfectly the new Roly Rosies Neutrals, Warm colours and Cool colours work together in a cluster.

Now isn't this just the cutest idea... a memory bucket to keep all your treasured memories and beautifully decorated using the Garden Party collection and the new Fabric Roly Rosies - Pink Swirl.

Cristal has designed a simple yet elegant frame for the home using the new Roly Rosie Neutrals which will team beautifully with just about any colour combination or simply the black and white as Cristal has displayed.

And now to add a little colour into her work, Cristal's beautiful layout uses the super fun new denim fabric roly rosies. She has added some seriously funky buttons to the centres just to give the overall look that little touch of something special. We love it!

Kim has also used the new denim roly rosies and shown just how versatile they are as she has combined them with a very sweet layout of her son. Who says boys can't have flowers?

Kim Holmes

Now, take a look at this totally fabulous spray of flowers... who would have thought - a paper corsage. Certainly a perfect way to save money and have something to remember your night special night for a very long time. Kim has used a combination of the new fabric pink swirl and the warm and cool paper flowers.

How to transform a $1 bucket from Target... take one bucket and a stick, add a bow and a whole pile of roly rosies and posies. That's how Michelle blew us away with this gorgeous paper tree in her pretty pink bucket.

Michelle Unruh

Michelle is also another designer who is not afraid to mix snips and snails with denim and lace. She has added a sweet touch to her little boy's photo frame again using the new denim flowers and the roly rosie neutrals.

I'm sure you will all agree that Robyn's layout is absolutely divine with its ruffled circle edge using the Garden Party collection, pretty flourishes using the i-rock gems and the wonderful addition of the fabric and paper rolled flowers, not to mention the gorgeous photo.

Robyn Schaub

And our last project of today is this very cheerful and totally adorable 'hello sunshine' card from Robyn who has also used the fabric denim roly rosies... which seem to be a popular choice with our design team so far.

Robyn Schaub

Now before you rush out the door to head to your local scrapbook store or push your children off the computer to place an order, we thought we might give someone the opportunity to own their very own bundle of the new release products with a few of the originals thrown in and a couple of the roly tools too! How does that sound?

For your chance to win you need to be a follower and leave a comment telling us what you thought of today's wonderful projects and what you would make with the new products.

Winner announced at the end of the week!
