Layouts of Love!

Happy Valentine's Day!!

We hope that you've been inspired by the incredible designs this past week.
It's clear to see that you can create 'love' themed layouts without even using valentine themed papers. Our DT gals have shown that once again today with their projects. Let's take a look!

********

Happy Valentine's Day!  I created a simple Valentine's (Love) Layout with some non-Valentine's Day products.  I started with a piece of white card stock and then cut the triangle patterned paper from the My Baby (Girl) collection. I also used this collection to cut the triangle embellishments.

The red patterned paper is from the Colors of Christmas collection.  I distressed the edges of all of the patterned papers and inked them with brown ink.

I cut the sentiment from red card stock using my Silhouette Cameo.

The pink and white tag is also from the My Baby collection.  I used the Knock-Out punches to cut the little red border strip and added the triangles over it.

Supplies:
-Imaginisce: Patterned Papers (My Baby, Colors of Christmas), Tag (My Baby)
-American Crafts: Cardstock, Punches, Adhesive
-Studio Calico: Mister Huey's, Wood Veneer

"My Valentine"

It's not very often that I scrap a picture of just me and my hubby so I was excited to jump into a Valentine layout about us.  I wanted the layout to have a masculine feel with a touch of romance. With that in mind I based my layout around some of the great reds and blacks from the Perfect Vacation line and then built it from there adding in some touches of pink from My Baby.

To create the variety of hearts I did several using an electronic die cut machine and also did some using a paper punch.  To add variety to similar ones I changed them up and added stitching or popped them up.  I also added little hand cut banners to the big white hearts.  Black outlining on several parts of the layout helped to add some extra pop.

Hope your Valentine's Day is full of love!

It's all about LOVE!

We have more stunning layouts to share with you today that are perfect for Valentine's Day and reminiscing about your loved ones.

*************

"You & Me"

Hi there! I have a Valentine's Day layout to share with you today featuring Imaginisce "My Baby" Collection!  I chose to work with this collection for the typical Valentine's Day colors! I don't have any girls, but this collection was so versatile that I was able to pull a pretty sweet Valentine's Day layout! Using only the "B" side, I was able to create this layout in no time. ;D

I am not a pro-coloring person when it comes to coloring those stamps. With my basic knowledge of coloring, I was able to incorporate these cute little stamps from  Imaginisce "Welcome Spring(owl)" and "Perfect Vacation(camera)" collections unto my layout. The coloring might not be perfect, but when placed on the layout- you can't really see the flaws, so don't be scared in coloring those stamps! :)

Supply List:
Imaginisce: "My Baby" collection: patterned papers, buttons, jewels, & journaling tags); "Perfect Vacation" collection: stamp (camera); and the "Welcome Spring" collection: stamp (owl).
American Crafts: "Knock Outs 2" scallop punch, cardstocks: silver and white, glittered ribbon, and twine.

"Heart Pancakes"

My kids and I love our Valentine’s Day traditions and making heart pancakes is at the top of our list. The pattern papers from My Baby (girl) were perfect for creating my layout with all the different shades of pink. I also threw in some of last years Love You More and Colors Of Christmas to bring out some other fabulous Valentine colors!

Supplies Used
Imaginisce: Pattern Papers (My Baby, Love You More, Colors Of Christmas, Childhood Memories), alphas (Love You More), stickers (Love You More)
AC: sequins, button, Tazzel

Layouts Made With Love

Love is in the air!
And so is the emotion captured in these fabulous layouts.

"Hugs & Kisses"

What is the first thing that comes to mind when you think of Valentine's Day? Love, right? That is how I felt the minute I saw this photo...the quality is horrible, but this so sums up my baby boy and his feelings of his first Vday! I knew instantly I wanted this layout to be bright and fun...and I wanted to do a large title, not something I normally do. I found this file in the silhouette store, and knew it was perfect.

I also really wanted this to have a valentine feel, but not use "traditional" valentine colors. The pinks and navy blues in the Welcome Spring line were perfect for this!

Adding in a few fun elements and layers, I have a very fun and "love"-ly valentine's day layout!! :)

Supply List:
Imaginisce: Pattern Paper ( My Baby, Welcome Spring), Die Cut Tags Pad (Welcome Spring)
American Crafts: Cardstock, Knock Outs Punches, This to That foam adhesive

Valentine's is just around the corner and I'm sure that those of you who scrap are pondering which lines you will be using for layouts or Project Life of the pictures you will take! Look no further than Imaginisce's My Baby and Welcome Spring lines!

You can multi-purpose the collections for so much more than their "intended" purpose! The little owl stamp from Welcome Spring is just perfect for Valentine's Day. Some of the other gals have used him/her on their Valentine's projects as well!

Supply List:
Imaginisce : Patterned papers (My Baby, Welcome Spring, Love You More),  Buttons (Girl Buttons from My Baby), Stamp (Welcome Spring), Sticker (Love You More), iRock, HotRocks

Layouts of Love

We're back with some more stunning layouts all about LOVE!

"Love This"

For my Valentine’s layout I chose to use a very old photo, one from 1963: my grandmother and grandfather. I love the combination of the soft pink “baby” colors and the old b/w photo. Who would have thought that a baby collection would be so perfect for Valentine’s projects!

What I really love nowadays are triangles and if you look closely at my background paper you’ll see little gesso triangles. It’s not very apparent … I’m only a beginner with gesso, so I’m still very careful when I do use it. And of course I had to finish my page with some stitching. My pages aren’t finished without it.

Supplies:
Imaginisce: patterned papers, sticker stacker, buttons, bling (My Baby). American Crafts: cardstock, glitter tape, glue runner.

"Love ... is a 4 legged word"

Hearts, they are what Valentine's Day is all about.  But you can create great heart themed layouts all year long if you want.  Today I am sharing a layout that the main focus embellishing is hearts of different sizes with some pops of navy color thrown in for a little something different.   And I do consider this a Valentine layout!  It's all about love!

I used the leftover hearts from my die cut file to accent parts of my page.  The buttons also worked as accents in the die cut area.

My title actually came from a quote on a canvas that I had bought at a local home decor store.  I fell in love with it and knew it had to end up on a page.  It went perfect with this photo from our photo shoot.

Thanks for stopping by the blog today.  Be sure to check out Imaginisce on our Facebook page also!

Valentine's Layouts

This week we are going to be sharing some incredible love themed layouts with you.
Once again, our Design Team has outdone themselves!  These girls are so talented and so inspirational.

(In fact, this week I had mentioned to them that I was lacking a bit of motivation to get working on an assignment. Well, they inspired me not only with ideas of how to get started but just with their words of encouragement! They're an awesome team to be working with!)

Ok, ... so on to these layouts.

**********

"Love My Life"

I love the fact that Imaginisce's paper collections can be so versatile.  I used Imaginisce's My Baby Boy and Welcome Spring to create this page featuring my hubby and I.  I used mostly pink papers to give this layout a Valentines day effect and then added just a hint of blue.

I used foam adhesive to give my title, embellishments and pictures added dimension.  All in all...I love the feel of love coming from this layout.

Supplies:
Imaginisce: Patterned Papers (My Baby and Welcome Spring), Stamp (Welcome Spring)
American Crafts: Cardstock and Foam Dots

"Sister Love"

The My Baby collection + Heart Dies = a perfect Valentine's project! I doodled inside the hearts with a black pen to make them stand out, but not before spattering my white background with black ink.

By adding some adhesive gems to my ink spatter, and matting my photo with silver glitter tape, I've added just the right amount of sparkle. Buttons threaded with Baker's twine in the hearts' centers finish the look.

Supply List:
Imaginisce: My Baby (Baby Bunnies, Sweet Baby Girl, Baby Girl Chevrons, Pink Elephants on Parade, Baby Girl Die Cut Tags, Baby Girl Plastic Buttons, Baby Girl Adhesive Gems)
American Crafts: White Cardstock, Glitter Tape, Bakers Twine, Daydream Thickers

Valentine Bookmarks & Frames

Happy Monday!!

It's getting close to the special 'amour' day ... Valentine's Day ... when we like to show our love, admiration, feelings of affection, tenderness, etc to those near & dear to us.  So, this week on our blog we will be sharing some ideas for Valentine's gifts.

Bookmarks for Valentine’s Day
Hello Imaginisce fans!
I’m back today with a some fun and easy little bookmarks that I made to give to my daughter for Valentine’s Day.
I started by diecutting some small bookmarks, punching some hearts, and then stamping this little heart birdie and a lovey sentiment.

Then I made a little paper pouch to house them in, along with a die cut tag that had the coordinating little heart birdie.

I threaded some baker’s twine through the tops of my bookmarks.

And packaged them up all cute-like and ready to give to my little red on Valentine’s Day!

xoxo
Michelle

Decorated Frame

Valentines Day is a day to celebrate the ones you love and what better way to do that than with a handmade gift!
I wanted to give a gift that can be displayed for years to come.  I started out with this great plastic frame and I knew I was going to need to use lots of the new My Baby (Girl) Collection for this project.

I started with a background sheet and then added some border punched strips.  After I added my 'love you' sentiment I used pop-dots to add dimension to the die cut shape and sentiment.

I topped the project off with some pink and white twine and now its ready for display!

Valentine's Inspiration - Day 8

Happy Valentine's Day!

Welcome to Day 8 of our Valentine's Inspiration.

Today's the day that we've been gearing up for and we hope that you've been able to use some of the ideas that our talented Design Team have shared with you over the past 1 1/2 weeks.
But wait ... we still have more incredible ideas to share with you today.  If you've got time today you may just want to try out these ideas!

You & Me Mini Album

Happy Valentines Day Imaginisce fans!  Today I am sharing with a little Valentine gift I made for my son. I wanted to create a little mini album for him that showcased photos of some of the things he and I like to do together.  I did not have an album that was the size I was looking for so I created this out of white card stock.

I put lots of bits and pieces of the Love You More collection in this album and its the perfect little keepsake to say 'I Love You'!

Supplies: Imaginisce - Love You More (Paper, Sticker, Tape)  Score Tool, 6X6 Cutting Mat, Foam Tape
Other : Adhesive, Dies, Paper Bag, Punches, Twine, Tag

"Soda Carrier and Bottles"

I wanted to do something different for Valentine's day for my kids. We try to minimize the sugar available in the house and Lord only knows enough candy is escorted in with their school Valentine's exchanges. So rather than give them something they don't need more of, I went with soda. It's a special treat made even more special by the personal touch. The banner stickers are perfect for straw flags! I even used circle punches to decorate the twist tops.

Supplies used: Imaginisce (Love You More: patterned paper, stickers, washi)
Other supplies: Metal embellishment: Making Memories, Jute: Hobby Lobby

"Gift Bags and Heart Crayons"

My daughter and I made some heart shaped re-purposed crayons that we wanted to give to special friends for Valentine's day. While working on my soda carrier she thought it would a great idea to use the same papers for gift bags for the crayons. Viola! A quick and easy project to put together with supplies at hand that coordinate so readily!

Supplies used: Imaginisce (Love You More: patterned paper, stickers)
Other supplies: Silhouette Cameo, cut files from Silhouette Store, Crayola crayons, ribbon: American Crafts

Valentine's Inspiration - Day 7

Thanks for joining us again today for our Day 7 of Valentine's Inspiration.

With one day left until Valentine's Day we have some wonderful card ideas to share with you today

*******

Love You More is just the most wonderful collection ever.  I can't seem to stop creating with it.  I love absolutely everything in the collection-the chevrons, colors, buttons, sticker sheet, journaling cards.  I could go on and on.  Today  I made 3 cards to share. I really wanted to show off the variety in the pattern papers along with the awesome stickers.  Combine these two ingredients along with some of the awesome embellishments and you have the perfect cards

"XOXO"
My first card highlights the wonderful sticker border and sentiment along with the awesome pattern papers.

Supplies: paper, stickers, button- imaginisce (love you more); Tools- I Rock (hot rocks);Twine- Personal Stash

"Always & Forever"
My second card I wanted to add a bit more bling so I used the I Rock stencil kit and made a wonderful flourish.  I also had to include the awesome hexagons and cut them out to make a border.

Supplies: paper, sticker- Imaginisce (Love You More); Tools- I Rock (hot rocks and stencil kit), Silhouette

"Be Mine"
For my third card I really wanted the red chevron paper to stand out and placed it on a light background with the light pink pattern paper.  I then pop dotted my sticker and sentiment on to the card to add a bit of dimension.  Finally I added some buttons from the collection.

Supplies: paper, stickers, buttons- Imaginisce (Love You More); Cardstock- bazzill

I think that the LOVE YOU MORE collection is one of my most favorites from Imaginisce. The colors and the designs are just perfect & make creating projects a joy!

Be Mine
I used one of the large stickers as the main sentiment & focal point on this first card. I added a little dimension by adhereing the gray banner sticker with foam tape & some texture with the pretty gray ribbon from May Arts.

Supplies used: Imaginisce (Love You More: patterned papers, Love Birds 12x12 sticker sheet; foam tape (white))
Other: Ribbon (May Arts); Cardstock (Core'dinations Colorcore cardstock)

I "Heart" You
I created this 'tic tac toe' idea on cardstock using the LYM Washi tape. That stuff is so fun & easy to use. I embellished the grid design with some LYM buttons and alpha stickers.

Supplies used: Imaginisce (Love You More: patterned papers, Washi tape, buttons; foam tape)
Other: twine (The Twinery); Cardstock (Core'dinations Colorcore cardstock)
