It's the First!! New Month, New Year, TWO New Prizes, New Altered CHALLENGE!

Good morning and a VERY HAPPY NEW YEAR to everyone out there today!
Pinky here to host the 1st CHALLENGE of the Year 2011.

Can you believe it is 2011 already?
Here is your FIRST chance to win *See Second Chance Below*

Here at Imaginisce we have a new team and so many amazing things
happening we thought it would be fun to change up the usual Sketch Challenge
This time around we are going to have a
"Found" Altered Challenge!!!!!!! Fun right?
Just think, "out with the old, in with the new" for this challenge!

Here are the Challenge Details:
"Find" an old item, or something that can be re-purposed and re-used
Using at a minimum of 75% Imaginisce product, alter your found item
then post it right here (scroll to the bottom) before January 25th.
At the end of January a WINNER will be chosen.
You could win a $75.00 package
full of Imaginisce goodness!

Have fun and get creative with it.
I have had this Christmas clock for many years now, I believe 6 years
but this year I made myself a new "scrappy clock" so I decided
to alter this Christmas clock for my scrappy room.
the wonderful and amazing i-bond,
my incredibly useful i-top,
my Cricut Imagine, and what would it be without
vintage lace and some pearls?!

Now you could just use the itop and make your numbers,
but I wanted to add something so I used my Cricut Imagine to cut
butterflies from the Enchanted line and the ibond to adhere them.

On this project my Imaginisce ibond was my best friend!

Now what can you "Find" to alter?

It's Just Around the Corner . . .

Hello All . . . this is design team member Tammy Wark here with you today to share some festive goodness.

I know most of you are not ready to hear this yet, but Christmas is just around the corner!  With that in mind I thought I would take a visit back to my Cottage Christmas Collection and make a fun altered gift to share with you all today.

Sometime ago I purchased these tall square tubes for altering and I have been waiting to use them, seeing as I love to make good neighbour gifts for friends in the area during the holidays I thought they would come in handy.  Here is what I came up with:

I filled the tubes with festive candies and Christmas coloured
Jelly Belly's then decorated their tops!

here are a couple close-ups

Hopefully this has inspired you come up with your own good neighbour gifts and start creating for the holidays!

Back to School with Liz

Hi everyone! As many of your know, my "real" job is as an educator and this month has been my department's Back to School month, which consists of helping teachers in our district prepare for the return of our students. Since I have been consumed with work, which always encroaches a bit on my hobby (LOL), I thought it would be appropriate to share little desk caddy created with the delicious Apple Cider Collection. Below are just a few directions on what I used to create this special gift for a child's teacher.

First of all, I started with one of these...
Purchased at Hobby Lobby

Then I painted it with this...
Burnt Sienna Acrylic Paint
Next I covered it with these...

Fall In Love 12x12 Paper
Nature Trails Ribbon
I also used one of these:
Fiskars Scallop Border Punch
Then I cut this...

Using this...
Cricut Country Life Cartridge
With this...
Cricut Expressions Machine
And ended up with this...

Ready for a Giveaway???
Leave a comment and be eligible to win one of these...
Cricut Simply Charmed Cartridge

Thank you so much for stopping by - Liz
