Memorial Day Centerpiece

Memorial Day, of course, is a celebration in memory of those who have served in the armed forces and given the ultimate sacrifice.  It’s not only a time to remember those we have lost, but also a time to celebrate their lives.  Memorial Day also brings families together in the form of outdoor cookouts and different celebrations. 

The Perfect Vacation line by Imaginisce can be used for so many other projects that “Vacations”. For instance,  t’s full of Reds, Whites and Blues which are perfect for Memorial Day, Labor Day, boy projects, outdoor projects.

This quick and easy project was made using a simple cut file and my Silhouette, and lots of Perfect Vacation embellishments

This Memorial Day, as you celebrate those who have fought and are fighting for our country, why not make a fun centerpiece to add to your table.

Hello everyone.  It’s Lorrie here with a Repurposed Theme Paper project.  I decided to go with the very fun, super versatile “Perfect Vacation” collection and use it for an “Every Day Occasion”.  

This cute card/watering can set could be used for a Thank you, Mother’s Day or Just Because occasion.  

The muted colors of Perfect Vacation collection make it super soft and feminine, but the bold muted colors are awesome for masculine projects.

It’s fun to use a collection for a theme other than it was designed for and it adds extra mileage to your papers and embellishments!

Thank You Gift Set

Hello and welcome to Imaginisce Spring Theme Week.

For my project this week, I wanted to create a fun little gift to give to a friend who recently went out of her way to do something sweet.  She is a bird lover and I thought this cute birdhouse would be just perfect for her and I knew I wanted to use the "Welcome Spring" collection by Imaginisce.

Of course, I wanted to include a little note.  I made a coordinating card/envelope using the Welcome Spring collection.  This card has a fun little cutout so when you open the card the butterfly will move freely.  I used one of the coordinating die cuts from the Welcome Spring line to add a butterfly on the inside and the outside.   The envelope is stamped with the butterfly stamp from the same collection.

I don't know about you, but here in the midwest this has been an extra long winter!  The Welcome Spring line is just what I need to put a little sparkle in may day and make me dream of Spring.  This collection could be perfect for so many things!

Hi there!  It's Die Cuts Shapes week at Imaginisce!  I absolutely LOVE everything about the new "Welcome Spring" line by Imaginisce and couldn't wait to put the collection to use in this project.

I don't know about you, but here in the midwest (Indiana) we've had an abundance of snow!  The Welcome Spring line is just what I needed to put a little happy in my day and hopefully someone else's day with this card and matching envelope. 

I mean seriously… how could a happy card filled with spring flowers, butterflies and a cute caterpillar not put a smile on your face and make you think of spring? 

I used just a bit of sewing on the edges of this card to give it some added texture.  I love to mix my stitches by using a combination of straight stitches with zigzag stitches and even adjusting the width and length of the stitches.  

The Die Cuts are a perfect way to dress up an envelope.  How cute is that caterpillar?  He makes an ordinary envelope into an extension of the card. 

The Welcome Spring line comes in both 6 x 6 and 12 x 12 papers.  I used the 6 x 6 paper pad for this card.  The die cut shapes make it super simple and super quick to whip up a card.  You are going to want this entire collection!  I think it would be perfect for Easter, Spring, Children's Birthdays, etc.

Valentine's Day Gift Ensemble

Hello there!  I am so excited to share my first project as part of the Imaginisce Design Team.  Our theme this week is Valentines Day Gifts.  I knew when I saw the Imaginisce "My Baby" collection that it would be perfect not only for baby girls but Valentines as well.  

How cute is that "Baby Girl Chevron" paper.  I think it's my favourite   

These simple treat boxes were cut on the Silhouette and assembled in no time at all.  The clear containers were left over packaging from Christmas Candy and a package of ear buds! 

Of course every little gift needs a matching card!  I whipped up this card using the scraps from the same papers on the candy container.

I’m originally from California, but have lived in Idaho for the past 18 years, so I guess I’m an Idahoan now!  I’m married, and mamma to a couple of red-headed freckle-nosed littles.  I’m a working mom, but at the same time I strive to be Super Mom.  In my “spare time” you will find me and all my chubby cheeks plopped down at my craft table making cards, goodie bags for the kids’ parties, school, and church functions, and making gift tags too.  I’m all about the heartfelt and handcrafted – but at the same time I’m all about the quick & easy.  I don’t have the time or the patience to make anything that takes longer than about a half an hour.  I started papercrafting in 2009, was published for the first time in CARDs magazine later that year, and kept on going from there!

I'm Tracy and I'm very excited to be joining the Imaginisce team!  I am 23 years old and have been scrapbooking since I was around 15 years old.  Currently, I am going to school for Graphic Design, but I also have a Psychology degree after graduating in May of 2012.  I had a change of heart and decided I wanted a career that allowed me to express my creativity!  In addition to school, I also work part-time at my local scrapbooking store and also run my own Etsy shop.  I am very busy, but I wouldn't change it for the world!  When I'm not creating with paper, I enjoy shopping, playing tennis, and spending time with my family and friends.

Hello there!  My name is Lorrie Nunemaker. I am beyond happy to be a part of the 2014 Imaginisce Design Team!

I live in South Bend, Indiana (home of the Fighting Irish).  I am a mom to my son, Alex, and my daughter Ashlea and to my 2 dogs, Katie and Brinkley  I just found out I am going to be a grandma in July!  My daughter and son-in-law along with the entire family are so excited!!   I started scrapbooking about 6 years ago.  A friend of mine sent me a homemade birthday card and I thought it was just about the coolest thing I had ever seen!  I originally started with tradition scrapbook pages and have since ventured into Cards, Mini Albums, 3D paper crafts and digital scrapbook projects with the use of Photoshop.  My most favorite things to create are hybrid projects which combine both traditional papers and embellishments with digital.  I'm looking forward to working with the Imaginisce design team and just a little secret… You are going to LOVE the products they have coming out in the Spring, I know I do!!!!

My name is Angi Barrs and I am thrilled to be a new designer here at Imaginisce. I live in “Terrific Texas” with my teenage daughter. I’m frequently in San Diego as well visiting my college girl too. I’m a junior high school English teacher and my background includes journalism, photography, and graphic design. Also, I have proudly served my country in the U.S. Marine Corps.

Not only do I create layouts, but I frequently make altered projects , home décor, and party favors as well. I've gotten to design for some fabulous manufacturers and have had my work published in several crafty magazines. Kelly Holbrook

My name is Kelly Holbrook, and I'm from Homer, MI. I have been married for 13 years, and have 5 children ... who are the subjects of most of my layouts. I have been scrapbooking for about 14 years, and would call my style Clean Layers/Eclectic. I homeschool 4 of my 5 kids, who are also involved in dance and soccer. I stay pretty busy, so I try to keep most of my projects quick and uncomplicated. I don't use a lot of techniques, but I love tools ... punches being my most favorite. I think that Imaginisce products are perfect for my clean and playful style, and I am super excited to be on the 2014 team!
