What a great Advent calendar idea!

Today I would like to share a quick and easy way to share Advent with your family. I created this calendar using a dollar bin frame and a bit of Pebbles -Home for Christmas Collection. 
I started by creating the base just, as you can see its just a bit of cardstock with  some stitches added.

Next I added it to my frame and added my Advent Cards that are just Pebbles 

Countdown Banner with my added notes on the back.

Finally I added a bit of decoration and Bling.

And there you have it a fun easy way to count down to Christmas & share Advent with your family.

Today I get a to share a super fun new collection from Imaginisce! I am so in love with the Family Fun Collection! It truly is the perfect family collection!
I picked t, he Bumper Lane paper to focus on for my layout, it was perfect for Sydney's Bowling Birthday Bash!

I really love all the die cuts that this collection comes with here you can see I added a bit of dimension with a foam dot.

And who doesn't love layered stickers!! They make the perfect titles :)

But no layout (at least mine :)) is complete with out a bit of bling and the IRock tool is perfect for adding a little sparkle.

Hello All Lanette here! Today I wanted to take a moment  to share  a quick little card using two of my favorite Imaginisce Tools. But first I wanted to let you know a bit about these tools.
First in no particular order is the I-Rock tool. With this too you can permanently affix rhinestones, jewels, pearls, or mirrors to paper, fabric, or even furniture to create a dazzling masterpiece! It's so easy! No need for messy glue. Each package includes one cordless heat setting tool. It truly rocks!
Next is the I Top with it you can transform an ordinary brad into a custom accent in an easy two step process. Just place your paper and blank brads and give a little squeeze.
Now lets take a peek at the card I created using these two fabulous tools!

And all the sparkle that the I-Rock adds.

Hello All!  Lanette here to share a fun fall Layout using up a bit of scraps from my past collections.....Proof that you should never throw out your scraps :)

As you can see I didn't have any "special embellishments" left so I fussy cut my embellishments out of the paper that I had left. The deer, pumpkin, banner and even the bird all all fussy cut embellishments!
Just look how cute they turned out!

And with a splash of enamel dots a bit of twine and lots of stitching my fall layout fell together:)

So learn from me keep your scraps and dig in your bin often you never know what you might find!

A Blinged-out Pumpkin!

Today I thought I would share a sparkly fall pumpkin that I created using one of my favorite Imaginisce Tools and a few sheets of the Welcome Spring Collection.
First lets take a peak at my pumpkin:

Now here is a peek at the extra bit of bling using the I-Rock Tool!

Now just another peak at those pretty rolled flowers.

As you can see I embossed the flowers and tucked a rhinestone from the My Baby Collection for a bit more bling!

New Friends

Now who wouldn't love having this darling book to record their friends addresses & phone numbers!! What a sweet idea Lanette!

With us just moving and Sydney starting a kindergarten this year I thought that she might like a new little address book to keep track of all her new friends. 

With the move my scraproom is well under construction so I used some crafty kitchen supplies!

 I used an old cereal box for the front and back covers.

And some Snag'em Stamps to decorate the pages.

Add a bit a of pretty ribbon and poof easy peasy a sweet little address book to tuck in my little princess's backpack! I just can't wait to see Sydney's book filled up with her new friends names and numbers.

Today I wanted to share a quick little card that I created using using the I-Top tool and the oh so sweet Little Princess Collection. I just love the colors in this collection and they are just perfect for a get well card for my grandmother.

Now this pretty little bouquet is sure to to make my grandma smile.

Like many families we celebrate the fourth of July with a backyard barbeque. So I thought I would share a layout of one of the first family barbeques we had, I just can’t believe how fast the kids are growing!

This week we are celebrating dear old dad here at Imaginisce, so I thought I would make a sweet little card for my hubby’s breakfast tray. You see every Fathers Day year the girls and I make my husband breakfast in bed, he knows it coming and I’m sure he’s been awake for a while but he plays along. Here is a look at the card.

"Pretty"

Sketches are a great jumping off point for some amazing inspiration! This sketch by Christine is no different! I turned the big triangle into a princesses hat with the tulle atop for that added pizzaz! 

Rather than the second picture in the top right, I turned that space into a journaling spot and layered various elements; die cuts journaling spot and title and another journaling spot from the patterned paper that accompanied the collection.

I added a bit of gold to the crown for a bit of dazzle.

Lookin' Good Grad

It's no doubt that cameras will be flashing and many pictures will be taken of that special grad.

Creating a layout is a super way to remember all the details of that special day.

Along with the photos you could ask the grad to share some of their favourite memories of the ceremony and other events of that day.  You could even write a personal note of encouragement and tuck it behind a photo as some hidden journaling.

As you know we are sharing graduation themed projects this week and today its my turn. I created a this fun graduation layout using my scraps from the super versatile Perfect Vacation Collection.

As you can see with my layout came together very easily using lots of tiny scraps and just a few embellishments.

I used a circle punch to create this sweet little tag.

And this is tab is cut from a journaling card.

I altered this die cut by cutting off the part that did not fit my theme and adding thickers.

Teacher Appreciation Week

It's that time of year again when we are thinking of ways to say thank you to those special teachers and instructors in our children's lives.
This week a few of our DT members will be sharing some fabulous ideas to show appreciation to those special people.

"Good Times"

Can you believe that the school year is ending? So what are you going to be giving that special teacher in your kiddo’s life? Not sure… Well let me show you a quick and easy gift that we are giving Sydney’s teacher this year.

As you can see I used a dollar clipboard from the craft store and decoupage some pattern papers from the Perfect Vacation collection. I added a small pocket and filled it with some stickers a thank you card and a gift card to her favorite coffee shop.

I added this cute little flair button that is covered of apples.

Now let’s just take a quick look at the back.

Here is a better look at pretty little apple. I heat embossed this wood veneer apple and layered it on this cute little diecut from the Perfect VacationCollection.

There you have it a easy quick little project that is sure to make any teacher smile!
