Good Dog Release Party - Day 2

So wouldn't you agree that this collection, Good Dog,  is adorable??

We've got another day full of inspiration and projects to share with you.

To start us off is ....

"Fur Ever"

This collection is so cute, perfect for the fur babies in your house.  I wanted to make a little photo holder for this sweet photo of my friends dog Gadget.  I started with a giant clothes pin and covered it with patterned paper.  I added a banner shape and cute sticker to the centre of the clothes pin.  For additional embellishments I cut out some little paw prints and used foam tape to attach them.  To finish off the holder I added some coordinating twine.

Supply List: Patterned Paper, Stickers and Letters - Imaginisce Good Dog Collection, Giant Clothes Pin - Michaels, Twine - Doodlebug and My Minds Eye

"I love Dogs Leash Hook"

What dog doesn’t need their own special place to hang their leash and doggie bags?  To create this Dog Leash Hook I covered some heavy clipboard wood with patterned paper and added some hooks.  I used all the fun sticker, chipboard and die cut embellishments that come in this collection, I especially loved the dog bone so I added it with some foam tape to give the project some dimension.

Supply List: Patterned Paper, Die Cuts, Chipboard and Stickers - Imaginisce Good Dog Collection, Clipboard Wood Cover and Hang-It-Alls - Zutter Innovative Products, Ribbon - A Muse, Twine - My Minds Eye, Jillibean Soup and Doodlebug

"Friends"

What a fun collection! I love the versatility of the paper. If you don't have a dog, no problem!!! It can be used on everything. I created this layout of my niece Audrianna and Lucy!

Supplies used: the "Dog Parade Paper" as the base of my layout;  I used "Dog speak Paper" to create a straight banner on top of the layout and to layer the photo; then embellished the page with"Doggie Diecuts.

"I Love Lucy"

Everybody loves our Lucy. she is the best pug for us and she is crazy cute! :) I love the "Paw Print Paper"and used it as the base of my layout. I tried to go easy on embellisments to show more of the paper.

Supplies used: "Dog Biscuit Paper",  "Dog Parade Paper", "I Heart Dogs Snag'em Stamp and "Doggie Diecuts"

Other supplies used are; Martha Steward Punch and Accent Scrapbooking Buttons.

"Good Dog"
My son is an absolute DOG LOVER.  This collection is made for him and his furry friends.  The adorable Good Dog Collection is perfect for bringing your love for dogs center stage.    The paper and embellishments made it so easy to create this layout.  All the colors and patterned paper coordinate so well together.  And the Doggie Die Cuts are the CUTEST!  I layered several patterned papers together to create the base of the layout.  I love creating my own embellishments so I hand cut and matted the dog bone for an oversized embellishment to balance the 5”x7” photo I used.  I made a dog tag for  journaling with the Diary Sticker Stacker and ribbon.  I also hand cut the hearts that I placed throughout the page, giving them dimension with foam tape and rhinestones.

Supplies used: Patterned Paper:  Dog Parade, Dog Speak, Dawg Dayz, Spotty Dog, Dog Dreams.  Doggy Die Cuts, Doggy Diary Sticker Stacker.   Rhinestones, Blue Ribbon.  Tools:  I-Rock, I-Punch, I-magicut Ribbon Cutter, Foam Tape.

Good Dog Mini Album
As soon as I saw the fun designs in the Good Dog collection I knew there was a mini album in my future! The idea for the shape of the pages came from the collection itself:  The heart, dog bone, food  bowl and dog house pages were all drawn and hand cut to mimic the smaller shapes found on the papers and embellishments.  I wanted each page to be a different shape so that it would catch your eye without even opening the album.  In a mini album it is sometimes tough to make space for journaling.  In this album I used the Doggy Mail cutouts and made them their own page in the album so that there was plenty of room for journaling.

Supplies used: Patterned Paper:  Dog Parade, Doggy Mail, Dog Speak, Dog Dreams, Dog Biscuits, Dawg Dayz, Spotty Dog, In the Dog House, Paw Prints.
Fur-Ever Friends Sticker Stackers, Doggy Diary Sticker Stacker, Doggy Die Cuts.

I {HEART} DOGS Card

While I don't have a dog, we know many, many dog lovers and I was glad to see a collection with which I could create things for all my dog-crazy friends! For my first project, I created a Side Step card, to which I added the absolutely adorable Doggy Diecuts. The "I {Heart} Dogs" sentiment stamp was pretty perfect for this puppy and I know of several friends who will be delighted to receive this card!

Supplies used:
Patterned Paper: Dog Parade, Paw Prints, Dog Dreams from Good Dog Collection (Imaginisce); Stamps: I Heart Dogs Snag'em Stamp (Imaginisce); Cardstock: Crumb Cake (Stampin' Up!); Accents: Stickles (Ranger); Dies: Classic Circle, Scallop Circles (Spellbinders)

MAYA Accordion Frame

My brother-in-law and his wife own a basenji named Maya, who is a very sweet and energetic little dog. They love her and I thought I would put together a few of their favorite photos of her and create a little accordion frame to display on their mantle. The frame is just a piece of 8.5" x 11" cardstock scored in four equal parts and trimmed down to fit 1.75" square photos. I took apart some of the sweet little Doggie Diary Sticker Stacker stickers to embellish the frame and spelled out Maya's name using the bright and fun patterned paper from the collection.

Supplies used:
Patterned Paper: Paw Prints, Dog Parade, Dog Biscuits, Dawg Days, Dog Speak from Good Dog Collection (Imaginisce); Stickers: Doggie Diary Sticker Stackers (Imaginisce); Fibers: red twill ribbon (generic); Dies: Merry Alpha Dies (Lifestyle Crafts); Cardstock: Pacific Point, Real Red (Stampin' Up!); Accents: Stickles (Ranger)

My beloved "Buttons" passed away several years ago at the age of 15. She grew up with my children and was just one of my kids. By the time she passed, the kids were almost adults and it wasn't the right time to get another dog.

My kids are impatiently waiting for me to finish the albums so they can put the pictures in. Such a wonderful collection. I have two dogs. Two Cattle dog - kelpie crosses - one with a bit of staffie in him. Our boy Spider we got as a puppie, but Fly came to us as an adult adopted from a shelter where she had been for over 6 months. She was a bit of a dominatrix and perhaps that is why such a gorgeous dog was so long abandoned. But she has turned into such a sweet heart, everybody loves her now. cheers Linda

we have a brand new chinese crested powder puff; you've heard the hairless breed gets voted the ugliest dog--well the powder puff version is the cutest!! :-) TFS!

I have a Jack Russell Terrier. I have her because my husband accidentally ran over my dog. My dog that died was mine before we were married. When the accident happened, we had just gotten married a couple months before. It was a very hard time for me. BUT...my husband bought me this adorable puppy that will 9 years old next week and definitely has left all her paw prints on my heart. I think she means more to me than ever because she is my husband's and I's dog. I can't imagine life without her but I know that day will come. Till then, I try to capture all the memories of her I can.

Well, i believe all the dogs as well as the dog owners enjoyed the party.
