We hope that you've been enjoying the creations from our design team this past month using our new Give Thanks collection.
This week they have been given the opportunity to create whatever type of project they want with whatever collection they chose. So let's see what Monique has created for us today ......
Hello Imaginisce fans! It's Monique today with another layout created with the Give Thanks collection. This time though, I used the collection for a totally different kind of layout, namely one of my youngest son and daughter who had just been to "Build-A-Bear". We don't have these stores in The Netherlands and it has been a long time wish for both of them to go there. You understand, a layout had to be created about this event!
Because the lights in the shop were a bit yellow and my son's vest was orange the photos matched the colors of the Give Thanks collection perfectly. The heart cut file is from The Cut Shoppe and I chose it because of the "pie" parts, which gave me the opportunity to use many different patterned papers.
I love to add hand written journaling to my pages and in this case I decided to write along the edge of the heart shape. Die-cuts have always been a favorite of mine and I just love the jar die-cut in this collection:
And how about the puffy "squirrel" sticker? Isn't he adorable?
I used Imaginisce's largest paper punch (initially meant for the I-Top tool) to create to circles behind the die-cuts:
How I love this collection!! Can't wait to see what you'll create with it!
Supplies:
Imaginisce: patterned paper, die-cuts, puffy stickers (Give Thanks); American Crafts: cardstock, Thickers. Tools: Imaginisce Paper Punch 34 mm. Other: digital heart cut file: The Cut Shoppe.
Thank you so much for stopping by our blog again today!
Monique
