I really love the the Tiffany Border die cut from Cheery Lynn. I made this layout using it and wanted to do something a little different.

So, instead of one border...I made several and layered them. Combined with the new Christmas Cheer Collection this made for a simple, but beautiful Christmas layout.

Supplies: Cheery Lynn Tiffany Border and Doily Die Cuts, Christmas Cheer Collection

Cheery Lynn Designs & Imaginisce Swap - Day 6

Today is Day 6 of our Blog Swap with Cheery Lynn Designs.
What a great week of inspiration it has been!

There are so many creative ways to use these dies as you can clearly see from the projects our designers have created with them combining them with the Imaginisce products.

Today we have designers Shellye and Ilene sharing their projects.

Christmas Tags
For these, I used the standard shipping tags which can be found at most any office supply store.

For the "Santa" tag I framed him with two of the pretty Lace Corners (B165 Deco E) that I cut from "Christmas Cheer".

For the "tree" tag, I used three of the Lace Corners (B165 Deco E) to create the branches of the tree! I cut a small strip of "Christmas Cheer" paper for the trunk and then machine-stitched the 'branches' onto it. I embellished with punched circles, Glitter Hot Rocks and a hand-cut snowflake!

Supplies: Christmas Cheer patterned papers, Santa from one of the Sticker Stackers, I Rock Tool and Glitter Hot Rocks
Misc: baker's twine and computer generated greetings
Cheery Lynn: B165 Lace Corner Deco E Dies

TIERED PARTY DISPLAY:
I love the look of a scalloped cake stand, yet I don't own one...so, I dressed a tiered plate stand by embellishing the inner rims (below where the actual plate sits) with four lengths of the beautiful Francesca Border (B159) cut from "Hello Cupcake" patterned paper.

Using a 2" square punch, I created the triangle banner by folding the squares diagonally. I added a few of the fun "Hello Cupcake" die-cuts to the top with a couple of sticky dots! I'm thinking this would make a great idea for Halloween treats as well...hmmm, look-out "Monster Mash"!

Supplies: Hello Cupcake patterned papers, die cuts and party hat from one of the Sticker Stackers, I Bond Glue Gun
Misc: baker's twine, ribbon, pom poms
Cheery Lynn: B159 Francesca Border Die

I really loved paiting up the fun and vibrant Imaginisce collections with the Cheery Lynn dies. I am absolutely a die-cutting fantatic, so this was lots of fun for me. My favorite die from Cheery Lynn was the breathtaking French Pastry Doily Die...you have to see this in person - the level of detail is just amazing. I loved being able to make my own doilies out of paper that matched the collections I was working with. And if you notice on the tag and card, I used some of the round Imaginisce embellies - the chipboard stickers, dimensional sticker, etc, from most of the collections have round options, and those fit beutifully into the middle of the doily die.

Tag Supplies
Paper: Imaginisce (Makin' Waves), Chipboard Sticker: Imaginisce (Hippity Hop), Die: Cheery Lynn Designs (French Pastry Doily Die), Die Cutting Machine: Sizzix (Big Shot), Ribbon: May Arts, Letter Stickers: October Afternoon, Foam Letters: Pink Paislee, Flowers: Prima Marketing, Ink: Cat's Eye Chalk, Other: shipping tag.

Card Supplies
Paper, Dimensional Sticker: Imaginisce (Hello Cupcake), Tool, Brad Daddies: Imaginsice (I-Top), Die: Cheery Lynn Designs (French Pastry Doily Die, Dancing Doily Lace Border Die), Die Cutting Machine: Sizzix (Big Shot), Flowers: Heidi Grace, Ink: Cat's Eye Chalk.

"Sweet Treats" Layout Supplies
Paper: Imaginisce (Makin' Waves), Chipboard Stickers, Dimensional Stickers, Die-Cuts, Canvas Stickers: Imaginisce (Hippity Hop, Makin Waves), Tool, Brad Daddies: Imaginsice (I-Top), Die: Cheery Lynn Designs (French Pastry Doily Die), Die Cutting Machine: Sizzix (Big Shot), Flowers: Imaginisce, Prima Marketing, Color Spray: Tattered Angels, Maya Road, Liquid Enamel: Inkssentials, Buttons: The Girl's Paperie, Ink: Cat's Eye Chalk, Marker: Sharpie.

The Cheery Lynn dies I received were a doily, a vine flourish and a ribbon eyelet border. I thought they would be perfect with the Christmas Cheer collection.

Supplies: Imaginisce (Christmas Cheer colletion); Cheery Lynn dies

Rebecca Keppel

I used the Cheery Lane Arabian Magic Veil frame to die cut two pieces of patterned paper from Imaginisce's Hello Cupcake.

I also cut 2 pieces of Hello Cupake with the Country Girl border die. One I layered under an Imaginisce die cut and the other I used as a border in between the patterned paper and the photo and title square.

Last but not least, I used the Imaginisce Cordless Glue Gun and glitter glue to give the title some sparkle.

Supplies Used:
Cheery Lane Arabian Magic Veil, Cheery Lane Country Girl Border, Imaginisce Hello Cupcake patterned papers, layered sticker and die cut, Imaginisce Cordless Glue Gun, Imaginisce Glitter Glue Gun Glue

Cheery Lynn Designs & Imaginisce Swap - Day 4

We've got another great day of projects for you today as we head into Day 4 of our Blog Swap with Cheery Lynn Designs.

When I got my dies I knew I wanted to use the butterfly as the key focal point for my project. What better way than to use it on a card. Sure, it won't fit in an envelope, but I often use my card as part of the decorative packaging so I'm okay with that.

I cut the die and just loved how intricate the details of it were but they were getting lost on the card so I cut a second butterfly out of coordinating blue paper and taped the back of it prior to removing it from the die. That kept it all intact. I adhered one behind the other and used my i-rock tool to add sparkle. Lastly, I cut decorative strips from the decorative edge die and finished it off with a chipboard sentiment, and more gems.

Supplies: Makin' Waves 09317, 3915, 3919, Chipboard Stickers, Cheery Lynn Butterfly Die and Queen Anne's Lace Die, Mr Huey mist, i-rock and gems.

Adora Concepcion

I created this layout of one of my kids favorite store, homemade candy and ice cream store!!! How sweet is that!

Here is a closer look at this Canadian Kaleidescope Doily and the Miniature Rose Dies.

I added handmade buttons using the i-Top tool and small brad daddies.

Supplies: Imaginisce (Hello Cupcake: Let's Party paper and sticker; Sole Sisters: Purse-onality; i-Top tool and brad daddies), Cheery Lynn Designs dies

Cheery Lynn Designs & Imaginisce Swap - Day 3

Welcome to Day 3 of our Blog Swap with Cheery Lynn Designs.
We've got another great day of projects to share with you so let's get started!

*******

Diana Fisher

I was so excited to get the Cheery Lynn Dies that I wanted to use them all on one layout! The Medium Rose die was great with the i-Top for making little flowers.

Supplies: Imaginisce (Sole Sisters pattern paper, canvas stickers, die cuts) i-top, small brads, Cheery Lynn (Medium Rose die, Lace Light Deco Border, Doilies and Exotic Dies), mist, buttons, white card stock

Using the Cheery Lynne lace border die and my Big Shot, I created a chevron pattern by staggering the border die as I cut it. With the border strips that were cut out while making the chevron pattern, I then made a wreath by folding the borders, adhering them to each other and then using the i-bond to glue them to a round base. A red button and ribbon finish off the wreath.

Supplies: Imaginisce (Christmas Cheer pattern paper, canvas sticker), i-bond, Cherry Lynn Lace Light Deco Border die, button, May Arts ribbon, The Twinery (maraschino twine)

Abby Laubenstein

I was so thrilled to create with Cheery Lynn dies, the selections I received are beautiful! I created a sweet card using the frame, butterfly and border dies. I used my Imaginisce petal roller for the border die to create a fun flower and also added some bling with my i-rock.

Supplies:
Imaginisce: Sole Sisters patterned papers, i-rock gem setter, hot rocks, petal roller.
Cheery Lynn: Mediterranean Lace Rectangle die, Exotic Butterflies dies, Cuties1 border die.
Other: Cardstock, Paper Smooches sentiment stamp, gems

Noel Wall Hanging

I was still in the Christmas mood and so when I saw these darling dies from Cheery Lynn, I was inspired to create a wall hanging using the Christmas Cheer collection. The Sweetheart Frame was just perfect for the sweet wreath Sticker Stacker and I love the border die, which was a lovely compliment to the wonderful "Noel" Die-Cut.

Supply List: Patterned Paper: Christmas Cheer collection (Imaginisce); Cardstock: Wild Wasabi, Whisper White (Stampin' Up!); Die-cuts: Christmas Cheer Rejoice Die-Cuts (Imaginisce); Stickers: Christmas Cheer Gift Giving Sticker Stacker (Imaginisce); Fibers: ribbon (Stampin' Up!), Stitched Grosgrain (PTI), Baker's Twine (The Twinery); Accents: Button (PTI); Glam Rocks (Imaginisce); Tools: i-Rock; Dies: Sweetheart Frame, Border Carnivale (Cheery Lynn Designs)

Surf's Up Card

The Cheery Lynn floral dies I got to play with were so well-matched with the blooms in the Makin' Waves collection that I just had to make a happy, bright card using the patterned paper and Sun Kissed Die-Cuts. As a fun little detail, I used brown pipe cleaners for the flowers' centers!

Supply LIst: Patterned Paper: Makin' Waves collection (Imaginisce); Cardstock: Melon Mambo (Stampin' Up!); Die-cuts: Makin' Waves Sun Kissed Die-Cuts (Imaginisce); Dies: Judy's Blooms Floral Dies (Cheery Lynn Designs); Other: Pipe Cleaners (generic)

Ro Philippsen

The Cheery Lynn Designs dies are perfect for adding charm to your designs. I just love the beautiful and inspiring butterflies & frame for my "Spring" card.

Suppy List: Bloom' Hot 12x12 paper, Walking on Sunshine 12x12 Paper, Bunny Day Chipboard Sticker, White Cardstock, Cheery Lynn Designs Frame Die, Cheery Lynn Designs Exotic Butterfly

Welcome to our blog swap with Cheery Lynn Designs.
We are thrilled to have teamed up with this company and their fabulous product and designers.

We've a week filled with incredible inspiration, ideas and prizes.
Today we have Imaginisce Design Team member, Rhonda Van Ginkel sharing an amazing project with us.

*******

Happy Sunday to you!

Today kicks off an exciting week of hopping between Imaginisce and Cheery Lynn Designs! What a wonderful mix of perfect scrappy goodness!!!

My project is fairly large so let's kick this off!

First off, I have a secret... I have an *ahem* rather luxurious assortment of Cheery Lynn Dies. Some might say it's a habit of collection of sorts, but I just love them! They are so pretty and add so much to a project! When we received the products for our exchange, I was giddy!

I received the: Large Sunflower Doily, Olive Branches and Daisy Lace Bracelet to work with. What to create? As you may have seen, we recently released the all new Christmas Cheer collection. I've always wanted to create a "December Daily", but haven't attempted it. I thought this would be the perfect way to use these products together.

The first thing to do was to choose an album. I selected one of the divided page protector types along with one refill of regular full page protectors. It's a 6x8.

I used our i-Rock Mini Iron and i-Rock Motif to decorate the spine.

I also dug out some number pages from an older Imaginisce collection that I had. Ironically, I only had the numbers and some rub-ons left. The colors coordinated perfectly for this project, so I decided it was time to use those up! The photo's here are taken with the page protectors on.

This is the first interior page. I used the Cheery Lynn Window Frame A for this and trimmed beneath it with the Anastasia border. Santa and Rudolph are peeking through the window on the top.

Anastasia Border used here on the left 4x6.

Olive Branches decorates my "3".

Daisy Lace Bracelet peeks out under my layers.

The French Lattice Large die is used here on top of vellum and white cardstock.

There are a variety of dies used throughout my pages and you'll see them accenting elements in addition to being a featured part of a page. I added others dies as I went along the way from my personal collection and noted them.

Some techniques used here are re-use of packaging as layers. The relief frames from our stickers were used on days for "9" and "13" I loved how nicely that worked to frame the numbers. I am going to embellish more with my i-Rock and i-Top as I work my photos and memorabilia in through the season.

Ingredients: Christmas Cheer papers, Chipboard, Sticker Stackers, Canvas Stickers and Die Cuts, Sole Sisters, Geek is Chic and Cottage Christmas (daily numbers and rub-ons), i-Magicut, i-Rock Mini Iron, i-Rock iron on motif, foam tape and Pogo by Imaginisce. Cardstock by Bazzill. Large Sunflower Doily, Olive Branches and Daisy Lace Bracelet, Anastasia Border, Fionas Magic Mirror, Mega Holly Flourish, Mini Fanciful Flourish, Fanciful Flourish, French Lattice Large and Window A. Snowflake punch by MS, Tab punch by Fiskars, Silhouette for number 1 and 16. Baker's twine by The Twinery, Snowflakes by Momenta, Album by Simple Stories, Technique Tuesday 3x4 cards, Archiver's 4x6 cards, 5" Creative Station and Adhesive by Xyron,. Inks, Mini Attacher and Glossy Accents by Ranger. Other: Sewing Machine, vellum, music paper and ribbon.

Thanks so much for stopping on over and spending some time with me today!

Have a super scrappity day!!!
~ Rhonda
