Monster Mash Release Week 2 - Day 5

Well we've reached the final day of our Monster Mash release weeks and we really hope that you have enjoyed seeing the creations and projects that our Design Team have created. They loved using this new collection and we know you will too!!

Today we have one last designer sharing projects with us to close up our 2-week release party.

*******

Cari Locken

Hi everyone!
I'm so glad that you've been enjoying the variety of projects that the Imaginisce Design Team has shared over the past 2 weeks.

When I received this collection I thought the colors and designs were just darling.
I knew right away that I wanted to create some table top decorations so I created some witches hats as centerpieces.

I used the die cuts to embellish each of the hats, added some Glam Rocks (to the bat's eyes) and decorated the edges/brims with rick rack. I hand cut some of the little figures from the patterned paper and added to the hats as well.

I also created a layout of my children in their halloween costumes from last year. They love dressing up (no matter what time of year it is!) and they look forward to wearing their costumers weeks before October 31st. (I admit it almost drives me nuts!)

I hand-cut one of the 'tree' images from the patterned paper to adhere beside my journaling (I adhered it using some foam tape for added dimension).

Thanks Cari for sharing the cute hats and layout with us.

Again, we just want to say 'thanks' for joining us and we'd love to see your creations using the Monster Mash collection so please feel free to share your work with us on our Facebook page.

We're always looking for creations to share on our I-Spy feature!!

Monster Mash Release Week 2 - Day 4

We're nearing the end of our Monster Mash release week and we hope you've been inspired.

As you will have noticed this collection is Halloween themed but there are also embellishments that will allow you to create 'fall' themed layouts and projects as you will see in today's projects.

*******

Tiffany Hood

Monster Mash is one of my favorite Imaginisce collections ever! I love Halloween, and I had a lot of fun playing with these cute characters. For my layout I used the pumpkins and leaves and made a fall themed layout about my children going to pick out their pumpkins. I used the die cuts and chipboard stickers for dimension and then added a bit of Canvas Corp burlap for texture.

My second project is a wall hanging that I made because I wanted to create something that used all the cute new Imaginisce Halloween characters. I think they're just darling. I'm excited to display these guys on my wall for Halloween.

I bought wood squares that already had routed edges and I painted them purple. I cut background paper to fit the squares and Mod-Podged them onto the front. I added the cute characters using Imaginisce dimensional foam adhesive. Then I hot glued a long ribbon to the backs of the squares using the I-Bond glue gun and tied lots of bright ribbons to it. To top it off, I used the I-Rock to add glam rocks to the characters.

Thank you so much Tiffany for sharing your creations with us today.
That door hanger is just darling!

Monster Mash Release Week 2 - Day 3

We're back with some more 'haunting' creations. The possibilities with this collection are endless and our designers keep coming up with so many fabulous ideas!

Today we have Regina Mangum sharing her work with us.

I just LOVE this darling Halloween collection! I thought it would be fun to make a matching treat box and card set and I was inspired by the absolutely adorable Snag 'Em Stamps.

After die-cutting a pumpkin window box, I thought the pumpkin cut-out would make the perfect little window for the Eddy Snag' Em Stamp. I also took some of the cute stickers from the Magic Words Sticker Stacker apart to keep him company.

For my matching card, I used the same pumpkin window cut-out and nestled the super cute Frankenbride and Mummy in a "field" of pumpkins. The images included in the Fall Medley and Spook Alley 12 x 12 papers helped complete my scene and I added the spook-alicious Ghost Snag 'Em floating off to do some happy haunting!

*******

This would make a great party set wouldn't it?

Do you have Halloween parties?
If so, do you plan on making your own goodie bags for the party guests?
We'd love to hear your ideas.

*******

In closing today's post we also wanted to share with you this darling mini suitcase album that Xyron posted on their Facebook page this week. They used the Makin' Waves collection from Imaginisce and we just love it!

Thanks Xyron for sharing your love of Imaginisce with everyone!

Monster Mash Release Week 2 - Day 2

Today we're back with
Rebecca Keppel
sharing her Monster Mash projects with us.

*******

For my layout I cut a large Monster Mash die cut into 3 pieces to make the title move diagonally across the page.

Once I had candy corns in several spots on the layout, I used orange i Rock bling to make them sparkle. I love how using the i Rock allows you to apply bling to stickers, die cuts and much more!

For my second project, I created a Halloween countdown. My kids love the Christmas advent calendar I made years ago, so I thought they would also have fun counting down the nights to Halloween.

Each day they can put the appropriate date onto the calendar and we end with the happy Stacked Sticker pumpkin.

I cut the calendar shape with my Cameo and used the large Monster Mash die cuts for the heading. I added numbers to the flip side of the cut out daily squares and of course everything needed a little i Rock bling too!

Thanks Rebecca.
That calendar is a super fun idea to create with children.

What kinds of crafts would you be create with children for Hallween? We'd love to hear your ideas.

We also want to let you know that we've got a new video up on youtube by Erin Bassett. She is showcasing the new CutBright tool. Have a look - it's so much fun!

If you'd like to watch more Imaginisce videos & learn more about our products you can find the videos listed on the right side bar. Enjoy!

Then let's get started.

Ro Philippsen

I decorated a black box of paper and turned it into a vase where I "planted" some lovely monsters using the die cuts from the Monster Mash Collection.

And for another project, I created a "Boo" card. Very scary ...
I really had fun and enjoyed all the beautiful monsters and ghosts from the adorable Monster Mash Collection.

Ilene Tell

This collection was so perfect for scrapping last year's Halloween photos. There were lots of neutral prints to pick from, and of course, lots of cute images. As always, the pack of die-cuts was my favorite. I just love opening it for the first time and sifting through all the titles and images - there's always so much to choose from, making embellishing fun and easy (it's my favorite part of scrapbooking :)

We hope that you have an enjoyable weekend and make sure to stop by again next week as we continue our Monster Mash Release Party all week long!

Diana Fisher

Who wouldn't love to get this cute goodie bag for Halloween?!
Filled with the new Candy Corn M&M's, this little bat is ready to make any little trick-or-treater's day.

The Monster Mash papers are so versatile! I love the variety in both dark papers and lighter styles. Great patterns and fun embellishments make it so easy to create a memorable layout marking the celebration.

Guiseppa Gubler

When I saw the new Monster Mash Collection...I immediately thought of the two twin cuties Blayke and London, the girls that I watch twice a week. This collection is perfect for scrapping the cutest little ones in your lives. I love the bright colors and fun die cuts. I used a little foam adhesive and it just made my projects pop.

I love the versatility of this collection...perfect for those Halloween cards too!

*******

So, ... are you enjoying the projects so far this week?
We sure hope so.

Stop by again tomorrow to see what Heather Leopard has created using this new collection.

BOO WALL HANGING
Imaginisce Die Cuts are so generous in size and can easily be layered with other matching elements such as pieces from the Sticker Stackers or Canvas Stickers. So don't be afraid to remove (gently) the witch's shoes from the sticker and try it out somewhere else...I just add a little dab of glue to the foam dot and you're good to go!

FACE PAINT LAYOUT
Note: For this layout I followed the gallon-quart-ounce theory. In design it is good to remember to keep things in proportion, whether it's color, photos or embellishments. The dominate color is purple (gallon), followed by the blue (quart) and then the green (ounce).

The main focus of embellishments is in the bottom 1/3 of the page, as well as at the right vertical 1/3 of the page. Proportion helps the flow of a layout, gives rest to the eye and keeps things pleasing to the viewer.

Mary Ann Jenkins

I love the new Monster Mash collection, and thought it would be perfect to make some Halloween Decor!

To make the cute little witches hat, I rolled the 12x12 paper into a cone shape, then cut off the excess edge from the bottom so it would sit level. I added the cone to a small circle cut from matching paper, then adhered to a larger black cardstock circle. I embellished the front of the hat, and added the flying bat with a pipe-cleaner.

I also made a layout to remember the year my son was Harry Potter.

For my layout, I die cut the chevron/zig zag designs directly from my base paper using my cricut, then backed it with a coordinating paper. I also cut a small chevron design and added it in between the larger shapes. I did a little layering of the Ghoulish Delights Die Cuts at the corner of my photo, then added the fun flying bat. A small piece of foam tape behind his wings will keep the dimension even after the layout is in my scrapbook.
