Paper Pumpkins

HAPPY THANKSGIVING!
We hope that you are enjoying a blessed Thanksgiving time with your family & friends.

If you are anything like me, your house is lacking in the way of home decor.  Guiseppa here and I'm going to be honest, I'd much rather make scrapbooking projects than making home decor for my house.  Well, I decided to fix that with this project.  Have a look at my cute paper pumpkins!

I made two of these little cuties, one slightly larger than the other and they are going to adorn my scrapbooking room.  As you can see, I used the Give Thanks Collection to make my pumpkins.  For the larger one, I stamped a cute owl using the Clear Acrylic Stamps (also from this collection) and made a little tag with cardstock and the  Phrase Stickers.  I also dressed it up by adding some die cut leaves cut from my Silhouette Cameo.  To top it off, I added a ribbon bow.  I used Imaginisce's I-Magicut to cut my ribbon so that it would not ever fray.

I did the same thing with the smaller pumpkin, but left the stamped image out, just to make it look a little different.

I love how these turned out, in fact, I may make more of them.  I think this project was a win win situation because I got some cute decor and I got to play with paper.  How have you been using the Give Thanks Collection?  It's perfect for all those Fall and Thanksgiving projects.  Thanks for stopping in and I hope you have had a wonderful Thanksgiving!  Until next time!

Thankful layout

Love the playfulness of this layout created by design team member Stephanie.

Hi everyone! It's Stephanie, from paperANDi. I have a Thanksgiving inspired layout to share with you today featuring one of Imaginisce's latest collection, "Give Thanks"!

I started out with a white solid base for my background. Using Imaginisce's milk paints, I mixed and diluted the paints with water to create a watercolor effect. Then, I used a large watercolor paint brush and swirled the diluted paints in a circle right in the center of my page and outwards towards the edges of my page.

"Give Thanks" collection topped it all off with some wash tapes, and Imaginisce's hot rocks.

I hope you'll give this layout a try, and make sure you check out Imaginisce's full collection here: "Give Thanks" collection.

 Supplies:
Imaginisce: "Give Thanks" collection (patterned papers, die cuts, wooden buttons, stickers, & sentiment stickers); i-Rock tool with hot rocks; milk paints. American crafts: spray mists (Studio Calico, Heidi Swapp).

Fall Days

Thanksgiving is a few days aways and this week our DT will be sharing a few more amazing creations with you.  Today we have this incredible layout by DT member Suzanna.

Fall Days with Imaginisce

Hi there Imaginisce fans! Suzanna popping in today to share with you a fall themed layout which I created using the Give Thanks collection.

There are so many fun embellisments that are a part of this collection!! This layout has die cuts, puffy stickers, enamel dots, wood buttons and word stickers on it. Embellisments are a great way to support a theme or build a scene on your crafting projects.

When I'm creating layouts and have extras, such as the leaves in the top right of the picture, I always save the extras with the collection. And look how handy that came in! They work just perfectly with this layout as well!

Thanksgiving is not just about the turkey but the people with whom you celebrate and thankfulness, gratitude. This layout celebrates my family and these 3 people for whom I am SO thankful. Every Thanksgiving we celebrate one another and how grateful we are to be together, for our health and happiness.

Thanks for stopping in today! Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours!
Suzanna

'Give Thanks'

Wow, Only one more week until Thanksgiving here in the USA. This year I have so much to be grateful for. I have a wonderful family including a new son-in-law. We have a beautiful spacious home that we are currently sharing with the newlyweds so they can save up some money to buy their own house. We are all relatively healthy.

Since my photo was taken in the fall, I wanted to create a background of colorful leaves.

When I was ready to add embellishments, the Die Cuts, Phrase Stickers, Wood Buttons, and Enamel Dots from the Give Thanks collection were perfect! I used the Imaginisce i-Rock to add some metallic hearts for the finishing touch.

Thankful Gift Bags

OH wow!! WE love these gift bags.  What a perfect way to say thank you and add some little goodies inside along with a note of thanks!!

Monique Liedtke

Hi everyone! For today's project I chose to create 6 little gift bags with Imaginisce's Give Thanks collection, which I want to use on our dinner table for Thanksgiving. I decorated the bags and added the names so I can also use them as name plates. I want to put a little something in the bags, like a mint chocolate to have with the coffee we always drink right after dinner and add a little personal wish.

I used a die set from American Crafts to create the bags and decorated them with die-cuts, phrase stickers, sticker-stackers, puffy stickers and enamel dots from Imaginisce's Give Thanks collection. Here're some detail photos:

And on the back of the gift bags I added a little phrase sticker as well:

Aren't they cute?!

To create the bows I used a fork and a piece of ribbon and followed the instructions I found here on Pinterest. Of course I used Imaginisce's "I-Magicut", the ribbon cutter and sealer to make sure all the bows had nice smooth ends:

The I-Magicut tool is so simple to use: just place your ribbon inside, close the top and press the button a few seconds so the thin metal wire inside the tool heats up and cuts through the ribbon and sealing it at the same time:

And this is what I had in mind for our table setting. The little bow adds a nice finishing touch, don't you agree?

And here they all are once again:

Supplies:
Imaginisce: patterned paper, die-cuts, puffy stickers, sticker stackers, phrase stickers, enamel dots (Give Thanks); American Crafts: Shimelle die-set. Tools: Imaginisce I-Magicut.

Thank you so much for stopping by our blog today! I hope you'll have a fabulous Thanksgiving!

Hugs,
Monique

Be Thankful Always mini album

Thanksgiving is a wonderful time to gather together with family & friends.  It's also a time when we take many photos together and capture those memories.  Check out this darling mini album idea  created by DT member Guiseppa - it's a perfect way to display those precious memories.

Guiseppa Gubler

During this time of the year, I love to make mini albums.  They are perfect to hold those holiday memories or give away as gifts.  Guiseppa here with you today and I want to share with you my latest mini album using the Give Thanks Collection.

I had this really cute acrylic mini album that I have been itching to use, so I pulled it out and got to work.  I love that I can display this album because it an accordion style album.

Using the Give Thanks Collection I dressed this little album up.  For the cover, I cut out some leaves and the title is from one of the patterned papers.  I also added an extra touch by using my I-Rock and some Hot Rocks.

For the rest of the pages, I fussy cut images from the pattered paper in the collection, used Phrase StickersPuffy Stickers and Die Cut Cardstock Shapes.  Here and there I added some more Hot Rocks using my I-Rock.  I covered the acrylic pages with patterned paper from this collection too.

I hope this gets you excited to craft for the holidays and especially using the Give Thanks Collection.  It's perfect!  I am excited to give this to someone who will enjoy filling it with memories or special thoughts they had over Thanksgiving.  I hope your Thanksgiving is wonderful  and I will see you soon with another Thanksgiving project.  Until then, Happy Crafting with Imaginisce!

I started out with a solid base paper for the background of my cards. Then, I picked out a few selected patterned papers from Imaginisce Give Thanks collection, trimmed and layered unto my cards. Last, I used a stamp from Imaginisce's Give Thanks collection or other embellishments to decorate my cards.

Thanksful

Suzanna Lee

Thankful Brown Bag Gifts
Hi there Imaginisce fans!

Suzanna here today to share with you a gift for giving during this upcoming holiday of Gratitude, Thanksgiving. There are many people in my life for whom I am grateful and I would love to share this small token of appreciation for their supportiveness and friendship. These brown bags will be the decorative packaging for a few baked treats. I haven't decided exactly what but I think   Pumpkin Magic Bars that I found on Pinterest will be fantastic!

My Silhouette Cameo and a Miss Kate's Cuttable's cut file came in super hand to cut the leaves and their stems. The B sides of the Happy Harvest collection "leaf" me super happy for my generic fall color needs.

The tag was cut using a die, though easy to do with your scissors or trimmer. I love the Fall Phrases stickers that come with this collection and as there are 3 of each phrase, you've got plenty to last for many a project!

I used my Imaginisce iPunch hole tool to cut the holes in the tag and the hole reinforcer which I added for some more color and pizzaz.

I can't wait for Thanksgiving and to give my friends this little token of gratitude!

"Give Thanks" Photo Clip

We're getting ready for Thanksgiving and over the next few weeks you will find some festive inspiration for the holiday season right HERE on the Imaginisce blog. So we hope that you'll stop by!!

'Give Thanks Photo Clip'

Now that it's November, with Thanksgiving looming, I've turned my thoughts to all the things I am grateful for. Upper most on that list, is my family. I found this photo clip at my local craft supply store (as well as this wood oak leaf) and thought it would be nice to embellish with the Give Thanks collection so that I could have a nice photo for my desk at work.

I began by adhering some pattern paper to the wood leaf. I used the Imaginisce D-Stress tool to sand the edges, cleaning up the roughly cut paper edges.

Then I used the Imaginisce I-Bond Cordless Glue Gun to attach the leaf to the photo clip. You can see I drew a line in pencil on the back of the leaf where I wanted to run a line of glue. To make sure the leaf was adhered well, I added more hot glue on both sides of the metal clip. I really love that this glue gun is cordless. It is so easy to take anywhere.

Now that the leaf was attached to the clip, I was ready to add embellishments. Puffy Stickers and Enamel Dots from the Give Thanks collection were perfect!

Thanksgiving Silverware Holders

Do you like making decor for the changing seasons and dinner parties?  Well check out these fabulous little holders that would be perfect for Thanksgiving!

Thanksgiving Silverware Holders

Hey there Imaginisce fans! Suzanna here today to share with you some silverware holders that I created for our Thanksgiving table. I know we haven't had Halloween yet, and trust me, I'm in no rush to pass that one by, it's one of my favorite holiday's! With this new fall collection, I really wanted to show you a handy decor project.

I used my Silhouette to cut out the silverware holders and the bracket "labels" using the patterned papers from the new "Give Thanks" collection. It was so easy to do as the papers all coordinate, no matter what combination you go with.

A fancy, brush script was desired for our names and as I am still working on that skill (or lack there of) I decided to print the labels instead of hand write. It was easy to feed the pre-cut papers through the printer.

A little twine and some puffy stickers finished things off nicely! Very simple yet so effective for some quick yet elegant table decor for the uncoming Thanksgiving holiday!
